UT Tyler
With all of the bad news lately about this or that University wanting to shut their greek system down, it's quite exciting to find a University that's FORMING a greek system.

it's a treat to see some good news...
more power to them. good luck. |
awesome news
hoping KD ends up expanding there... we didn't colonize anywhere this past school year. Strong alumnae base in Texas, too |
I use to go to school by UT Tyler and i thought that it was a 2 year school. It is nice to see that has changed and are now starting a greek system.

Whoa!! How did I miss this? That's really good news. Do you think they are being WAY optimistic trying to bring groups on as early as fall 2005? I thought expansion worked much slower than that.

There are groups presenting this month so I would think that if they act quickly enough that it is possible.
|
Any word as to who is presenting?
|
that's awesome!
good luck to whoever is presenting. - marissa |
This is one of the schools that has been on the NPC list as "open" for the last two years. A reminder was sent out again earlier this year. If they finally have groups interested then HOORRRAAAYYY for them! Personally, I thought that it would be great to have an AOII chapter there. AOII, Tyler, Roses...it just fits!

that's awesome! i actually know mindy and she is so nice! i didn't know she was at Tyler but I think she will be great for that campus.
|
Does anyone have any word on who will be presenting? Does the NIC 'present' as the 'NPC' does?
This is great to hear for Texas schools! There is so much Greek support there! |
Oh, wow! That's great. How exciting for the students who will be a part of the brand new system!
