2 confirmed dead--Campus is on lockdown
I'm currently listening to two sources and one is stating that it's a possible murder suicide.

From press conference: The PD is in the process of taking campus off of lockdown. 2 male adults confirmed dead. 3 reported shots fired by UCLA PD. Weapon recovered. LAPD stated it was a murder suicide.

Campus was on lockdown starting about 10:15am PDT. One of the UCLA Chi O's was interviewed on KTLA by phone when the the police/swat teams were going from room to room, evacuating the Engineering 4 building.

Per the Vice Chancellor: Lockdown is lifted. Classes are cancelled for today and will resume tomorrow. Finals will resume as planned and commencement will take place as scheduled

Very sad. It was reported that a student killed an engineering professor over a grade.

The gunman has now been identified as graduate student Mainak Sarkar.

Authorities have found a list of other people thst the shooter planned to kill. His ex-wife was found shot to death in her home in Minnesota today.
