Lavalearing(sp)

I am a Phi Kap at Kansas State. I was wondering if someone could explain lavalearing to me. I am sure I probably spelled that wrong. Maybe some ideas on how to go about doing it too? My girlfriend and I are really serious, and I want to show her how much she means to me. Can anyone help me? I would like to know what I am doing before I bring it up to some of my brothers here.
