whats up guys, i was recently elected philanthropy chair at my chapter, i was wonder if anyone had any good ideas to raise money, i was going to try to raise money for IAVA (iraq afghanistan veterans of america) i thought i wud be a good cause after the iraq war ended

Contact the IAVA chapter nearest you (if you haven't done so already) and see what they need. A clothing drive or food drive may be more helpful (and often gets better participation) than just a straight up $$ raiser.

well the whole thing that they do is get vets jobs and secure their house payments and stuff like that so they really only take money

Fundraisers involving food (chili feed, pancake breakfast etc) usually work out quite well.
