Virtual recruitment / Degy World
 

Hello all - one of my nieces is going through recruitment this weekend at my alma mater, Ohio State. It's all virtual, and they are apparently using a software platform called Degy Work for part of it. According to this article in The Lantern, it sounds like The Sims, with all the PNMs interacting virtually with all the sorority members. Has anyone used this before, and how did it go? I'm really intrigued by the whole notion of virtual recruitment and especially this virtual aspect (I'm also a huge Sims fan!) Would love to hear any thoughts. I'm trying to persuade my niece to share her recruitment story here too :D

I'm a tOSU alum and an advisor for one of the chapters. I receieved the minutes from Chapter last night and saw DegyWorld listed. At first, I thought it was a campus bar or event location. I had to look it up.
I have no experience with it but I'm sure I will hear about it from the chapter side within the week. I did see where a particular colored top needed to be worn for each round.
