I'm thinking about the dress on the left, in either that purple color or another shade (if available) for my bridal party.

Cousin is doing J. Crew dresses. We can choose from 4 styles. I'll probably end up wearing one of these two (they'll be in Black).

I like the dress on the left too. It's very pretty. And I love the color

^^^ I like it cause I think it'll look good on different body types, and the girls I'm thinking of for my bridal party are all different shapes and sizes. Plus I think this is a really cute dress to wear for other events after my wedding.

Thanks for starting this thread KSU! I wanted to, but I didn't really want to look like a super creeper since I'm nowhere near getting married. However, a girl does like to dream. Here is my polyvore arrangement of my basic thoughts by what I meant by "different colors and styles that coordinate". Comments would be appreciated. I guess my guidelines would be knee length cocktail dresses in black, navy, or jewel tone purple, with a 40's or 50's feel (or just something classic), and silver or nude heels or flats. However, a pictures says a thousand words.

this is the dress I'll be wearing in April. I'm pretty sure she wants us to wear navy/blue shoes.

Not gonna lie I'm really excited because it has pockets.

It's funny I saw the title of this thread and knew who started it before clicking on it.

I love the J Crew Line. It's affordable, classic, and flattering to a variety of body types.

They also don't scream "bridesmaid dress" so the girls can wear them again.

My MOH dress and the other 2 BM dresses.... my sister's getting married in Sept and is doing a peacock theme.

Please keep posting more ideas!

My sister is getting married next April and has adopted the "I don't care what dress you wear, just as long as it matches and it doesn't look like you're about to pick someone up off the streets" thought process.

I don't even know where to begin. I wish she'd just tell me what to wear like every other bride has!

These are the Jim Hjelm dresses my bridesmaids picked (all in "Scarlet"):

Jim Hjelm makes a ton of really pretty, fashionable bridesmaid dresses.
