I was inspired by this post about Kappa Alpha Theta's History/Facts trivia and I thought it would be a lot of fun to do this for my sororities! (Sorry if this thread has already existed for SAI). I will start with the first question. :)

Q: Who is the "invisible pipe of pan" that our Founder's refer to? :)

Q: Who was the first sister to be initiated on March 7, 1904?

A: The first active sister was Blanche Abbott, and Mrs. William Howland the first patroness.

Q: The founders had a nickname for the car they rode around in. What was it?

^^^^I've got no clue and have been digging through the history book looking for the answer.

I do have a question, though, when an answer is given!

Oh wow, I haven't the slightest idea! And I read that history book cover to cover too! :D

Any guesses out there?

I'll give the answer, since it's been a really long time. It's Old Stonewall! My chapter named a teddy bear after the car that we pass from sister to sister as a sharing item. I found the information in my Fraternity Education binder (I was co-chair for 2 years).

Two of our Founders died within days of each other. Who are they?

Well I know it wasn't Georgina Potts, right? Oh man, I seriously need to brush up on SAI Trivia!

Minnie Davis Sherrill and Georgina Potts died within 10 days of each other.

Q: Which chapter is credited with the creation of the Ring of Excellence?

The answer is Beta Chapter. They established the Ring of Excellence as a local award before it was a National one.

SAI voted on our colors. Red and white obviously won. But there were two other color combinations that were on the ballot. What were they?

Anyone? ha Bueller?

I'm going to just guess!

Red and gold, and blue and green.

I know it's in the history book but I haven't been home to look it up since Wednesday.

If memory serves me, wasn't brown included?
