I am sure I have others but those are the ones I know off of the top of my head.

We are the only two to join.

and between my mom and dad it have about 100+cousins. My great grandfather had 19 and my grandma had 16.

Dad: Pi Kappa Phi (founding member at Seton Hall)
Me: Alpha Delta Pi

And that's it for my family! Apparently, a sorority (my mom does not recall which one, or maybe she just won't tell me?) tried to colonize at my parents' alma mater back when they were in college, and my mom would have been a founding member, but they couldn't quite get it off the ground.

Mom: ZTA

Dad: pledged ATO (dropped after having trouble with grades 1st year of college, Phi Beta Kappa though)

Brother: Lambda Chi Alpha

Me: Sigma Sigma Sigma

Yeah. One of them was livid!!!!! I guess because of the leadership she held (she has 2 children under 2 so she is still active, but no position) she was a charter member of a chapter. I understand and respect their decision (only 2 of them are mad), but she will get over it...sooner or later.

In the "other gender" forum, I incorrectly stated that if I were a guy, I'd be an ATO legacy...and just to set the record straight, my uncle was actually a Pi Kapp, not an ATO (I don't know why I thought he was...I think one of my dad's friends may have been an ATO and I thought he meant my uncle?). Anyway, the only other Greek that I know of in my family was my cousin who was a Farm House at Auburn. But I'm the only sister (so far)! And I'm Delta Gamma of course.

TrulyKappa 03-15-2007 06:43 PM

New to the board but i guess ill finally add something...

Mom: Alpha Kappa Alpha
Dad: Nothing (he went to the army instead)
Me: Kappa Kappa Gamma
Uncle: Alpha Phi Alpha
Cousin(s): Delta Sigma Theta, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi

It's just little ol' me. Everyone else in my family who went to college either went to a college without a greek system, or they were anti-greek.

Just me, too. I'm kind of sad that my younger brother's top two picks for college don't have Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia chapters even though they're known for their music programs. I have a feeling that org would be right up his alley. C'est la vie.
