Is anyone here on Xyzal for their allergies?

It's one hell of a drug.

Why? I don't know. I don't have allergies.

I took maybe 4 of them, and threw the rest out.

yeppers... actually you're supposed to take it in the evening before you go to bed.

per the website:
Do not take XYZAL if you are allergic to XYZAL, cetirizine or ZYRTEC. Be sure to tell your doctor if you have kidney disease. Patients taking XYZAL should avoid operating machinery or driving a motor vehicle. Taking XYZAL with alcohol or sedatives should be avoided. Take XYZAL at bedtime. Do not increase the dose due to increased risk of sleepiness.

If I take it at bedtime, I can't really function the next morning. I take it at around 7 or 8 the night before and I still need a nap the next day :(

I don't take it every day, though.

I don't know what my life was like before Xyzal. I was actually able to spend a few nights at people's houses that have animals with it. It doesn't make me sleepy at all.

I've had really good luck with Zyrtec, so I've never had a reason to try anything else.
