Decisions will be made and fun will be had in Denver starting Wednesday :) Maybe I'll see some of you there!

This thread is for discussing convention and the results thereof, if anyone would like to join in!

Since I can only afford to do one and not both, I have passed on Denver and going to Orlando for Delta's convention. Have fun and let me know what happens. :)

Have fun in Orlando! If I start up saving now, maybe my broke butt can make it next time :p

Denver should be an adventure - we're presenting legislation to revitalize the alumnae chapters and I'm putting on a workshop about those ideas. I wrote about it in the Chevron if you all got that issue - I'm really hopeful that this legislation will pass; it means so much to OPhiA to have strong alumnae program, and I really believe that strengthening the alumnae chapters will do that in a big way :)

I did see The Chevron yesterday online and I also see that you will be over alumnae relations for the district. Good luck with that because there are a lot of people who think that OPA is over once they graduate and I hope we can change that! :D

I do too! I am an alumnae since I transferred schools, and have now since graduated, but I still love OPA and want to continue to be as involved as I can as an alumni!

The announcement has been made: Convention 2009 will be in Philadelphia, PA! :D

Glad convention is in Philly in 2009...makes it easier to talk hubby into letting me go since his brother/SIL and Baby Rubio (due in Jan 09) live! SO I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone and FINALLY make it to convention!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Do we have dates yet? lol

Hunny has said that yes, it is perfectly okay to make plans because atleast he can use it as an excuse to see his brother. I have been told that the Philly Zoo is awesome! There is an old jail there that is haunted - would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to that lol!!!
