Which season was the best ever? I would have to say season 1 in New York or Season 7? in Seattle. Worst season ever goes to season five in Miami. It was sort of boring watching it. Tell me what you all think.

I think the best season ever was NY...just because it was the one that started it all. I feel that NY was the only genuine season.

The worst has to be Miami. I was considering London, but the incident considering Neil's tongue was a memorable one.

Most inspirational? San Francisco. Pedro's story was remarkable...that and Pam and Judd ended up getting married.

My all time fave has to be Hawaii, not only because it was filmed in my home state, but I was able to be on the show twice...even if it was only my back side for about two seconds and even if the world got to see my sorry self munching away at lunch. Okay so I admit it--I was a RW groupie. You don't know how hard I tried to get Colin's attention!!! I definitely think I'm better looking than Amaya (sorry Kappas). http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif

My sorority had a shining moment in the show. As Tek and Kaia was passing out flyers for their Local Motion concerts at our Campus Center, the camera caught a GREAT shot of our *ALPHA GAMMA DELTA* Rush board in the display case!!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hey I think I remember seeing you ;-) Just joshing. That must have been cool to have the real world filmed so close to you. The only city that is big enough here is Detroit and they would never film there. (not hating on Detroit, just not many interesting sites to film there, they haven't even filmed Chicago). I think the whole failed buisiness venture in Miami was funny to watch. I thought this past season was kind of drab as well, not much going on besides "Dree da de doo da de da, Come on be my baby tonight", or whatever that was. I do agree with ya on the New York season, to me it seems 100% genuine. Too bad they 'retired' the re-runs from that season. Season two in LA also seemed to 'Hollywoodish' for me.

I really liked the last RW. RW9, New Orleans, was my favorite. Melissa was so funny and regardless of what people may say, I thought Julie was cool. She really had a growing experience, and her story in itself has only strengthened my desire to be on the show in the near future.

I HATED Seattle! I liked New York and Boston the best I guess. You're all right though, Miami was pretty much torture (but I liked Cynthia).

My favorite seasons were Boston and Seattle. Both made me laugh every time I watched them.
Miami was boring; a bunch of petty people arguing all the time.

London was so boring! I am so glad the powers that be at MTV has finally come to their senses and have RW Chicago. Don't forget to watch the RW special with all of the casts coming up this summer!

I am actually a RWLA kinda kid. I dunno why. I liked it thought the music was pretty good on that season. Plus it hadnt gottan commercial yet. LOVED the drama between David and Tami. It was the biggest deal to have to kick him out. Now its no big thing. Thats why I liked it. the originality of it.

HATED SF. Nothing on the city but the whole season was drama. Got enough in my life, dont wanna watch a season of it.

Really liked NO. But liked it because it is 2 blocks form my friends house and I have passed by it a bunch and been to a lot of the same places. Kinda cool. Reminds me of my trips there. The part about the TV show they had to produce was stupid and the didnt get off of Burbon St or St.Charles. Theres LOTS more to NO than that.

AS for Road Rules: LAtin America where the chick got booted for rollin the dorky guy. TOO FUNNY. ahahahahaha. Gotta love a show when a lady kicks a guys arse.

Ok, I am a RW fanatic...sorta http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif
I think my personal favs are Boston (Syrus was cool..despite his womanizing issues and Kameelah was cool too) and Seattle (can we say David w/ no shirt on?! Hello!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif Plus Lindsay went to my alma mater! Go BLUE!) But I digress...
I didn't start watching RW until the 2nd season, so I missed all of the first season. I caught reruns, but it didn't really interest me. I did like the one where Heather B and Eric were wrestling/fighting? though. Oh and that dog they had was HUGE! WTF?

Anyway others I just liked:
*LA--LOVED the drama w/ Tammy and David. So funny how they started off and how they ended up. 'Ol Jon was annoying w/ the cowboy hats and all. I just got sick of seeing him wear them. He could really sing though...kid has talent indeed.
*London--Only b/c I want to go there and I love hearing the accents and such. I thought Sharon also had a nice voice but she did talk entirely TOO much. And whoever said "ugh" about Mike was RIGHT! He was just...UGH! Lars was MY BOY! He was cool as hell. I could definitely hang out w/ him. Neil was alright too. Otherwise, it was alright...no cigar though.

*Hawaii and New Orleans--Tech was cool... a little annoying, but cool. He kept it lively. On the NO season, Matt--his purpose? Someone let me know if you figure it out. I enjoyed Melissa. They always seemed to show her at the end w/ the credits saying some pretty hilarious stuff. She was cool.

As for the others, they were ok. I only liked the Miami season b/c of their house...but the people (w/ the exception of Cynthia and Sarah) were just annoying! UGH, I can't stand Dan to this day!!! (lol, like I know him personally or something!)

I can't wait for the next one! It better be good http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

My favorite season is San Francisco. My least favorite seasons in order are 1)Seattle- I've never seen a more whiny concided, backstabbing bunch of people in my whole life. This group gave the 18-24 year old demographic a bad name. I won't even watch the re-runs 2)Hawaii- Matt was such a dork. And that green shirt of his was aweful

3)London- what a boring season that was

memorable moment: Neil's tongue incident

Season 5 Miami: most loudmouthed/obnoxious
fave people: Cynthia
people I disliked/hated: everyone else
memorable moment: Shower scene

Season 6 Boston: cast members who are most likely to get in trouble
fave people: Elka, Jason

The first season I ever saw was Miami, so I can't make a good judgement as to what's the best. It seems that everyone is saying the earlier ones were the best, which I never saw except for clips during reunion shows...

Was that really necessary? Had you come up with "funny" nicknames for the other cities, I could see its place, but why single New Orleans out? New Orleans is a lovely city, and I was relatively happy with how my hometown was portrayed on TV.

You so did not play the "It wasnt not funny" card. That was THE BEST. Hows about the bone chilling shrieks of, "Daaavid stop, stop, staaaaaaaaaaaap!" Also you forgot Tami's outburst of "I'm gonna hit 'chu, and its gonna hurt." Followed by the truism, "stupid ass." How could you not love tami?

Please don't be offended juniorgrrl, I don't think Leslie came up with that name by herself. Many people in the media (MTV included) referred to the N.O. season as the Big Sleazy. I don't think it was a reflection of your hometown--but it was a good description of the cast, IMO.

Lifesaver: you are so right - very funny!

OTW: thank you for my defense http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif

Juniorgrrl: indeed I was not trying to insult New Orleans, but as OTW mentioned it is often refered to (even on the show) as the "Big Easy/Sleezy"...I didn't intend to offend.

I think we all get defensive when people attempt to put down our hometowns. When I watched the Hawaii season, even I got offended as to how MTV portrayed Hawaii...because there's certainly nothing "REAL" about 7 20-somethings living in a $3 million dollar house in Black Point (one of the ritziest neighborhoods on Oahu). Their Local Motion jobs wouldn't have been enough to pay off half their rent.

Boston was great; I had a nice little crush going on Elka. I did a year of military school (before the Boston Season) down in Harlingen so it was weird to see her go where i had been before. Hawaii was another good one Amaya I thought was going to go the distance but after she started crying I just started to make fun of her.

An MMA kinda kid. OK. I know lots of people who went there. Anyway, I have a good friend who went to Porter HS (I think thats where they went) in Brownsville with Elka. I can assure you from talking to him, and about 25 other people who went to HS with her, that she was NOT the virgin she portrayed herslf to be. I guess if I was going on MTV I'd clean my image up a bit too.
