How many of you got one? I just ordered mine and I'm very happy with it.
For me, JWU wasn't abut being Greek. so I had them engrave it on the inside with SDT instead of putting the letters on the outside.

I got one, but it was several years after I graduated as the ones they offered my graduation year were megafug.
It's black onyx w/ ASA embossed on it and my degree along the sides.

I didn't like the ones they offered my year either but I'm thinking about getting one now that I'm out. Not a big clunky thing with a huge stone like I did for HS though! UGH!
Megafug, can I steal that?

I got a class ring from high school. I didn't want one from college.

Ditto. My HS ring is just sitting at my parents' house in a shadowbox with my graduation invite, senior pics, homecoming & prom corsage, etc that my mom made for me.

My brother tried to freak me out with my hs ring, and put it down the garbage disposal. Yes, he is much older than I, and should have known better, but I do have the remains.
I opted not to get a college ring, but was given a beautiful sorority ring instead.

My black onyx crest ring is what I received instead of a college ring.

I got my hs ring and I got my college ring from Texas A&M. I looooove my Aggie ring as most Aggies do. I still wear it proudly 16 years later as I did the day I got it. And, being that we are Aggies there is a whole (unofficial) ceremony that you do when you get your ring. The Aggie ring means so much in Texas. It's done everything for me from getting good deals when buying stuff to getting me out of tickets...hee..hee...hee...;).

I loved my high school ring -- gold with black onyx -- the school has had the same ring for over 100 years. Sadly, I lost my ring about 15 years ago. I did not get a college ring.

Those are beautiful!! I think that's what they were trying to do w/ the college rings the year I graduated, with not good results.

Those are pretty. I never got a HS one we weren't given the opinion which is why I wanted one. While there are the JWU "signature" ones we can order anything we want from Balfour, and then make a ton of different choices.
The one I got is like this (http://ww2.balfour.com/college/catalog/img/noblesse3_lg.jpg) but in yellow gold with a bright blue stone and nothing on the stone.

Ok, I'm thinking on the right it says "15" as in Class of 2015, but what the heck is on the other side?

Probably - I looked up that style on their site and it said that you could put your degree on your ring - but why would you want your resume on jewlery?

I put SEE (my degree) on one side and BA on the other..and it looks like that is what most ppl do...that's what a college ring is like ;)

I didn't order one because I am 99.98% sure I would never wear it anyway. I'm just not a fan of the way they look :p
I did order an ADPi ring though, and I wear it all the time :)

I did indeed get a Brass Rat. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brass_rat) I rarely wear it these days, though - it weighs a ton.

2 of my pledge sisters went to GPS, so I recognized the ring :)

I got a HS class ring, but opted not to get a college ring. I only wore my HS ring for less than a year after graduation, and I knew that a college ring would meet the same fate (a box at my parent's house). I did get a very nice Tri Sigma bracelet for graduation that I still wear for special occasions.

Got my Aggie ring and still wear it. In fact I work with several Aggies and we all wear our rings. I see that the governor (Perry) wears his as well.

I bought a high school ring, wore it in high school, and then it got left in a box at home, never to be taken out again.
Didn't bother to get a college ring. Was going to get a sorority crest ring. That still hasn't happened.
Was planning to get one from grad school. Still haven't gotten one.

My high school class ring is in a jewelry box somewhere.
My wife (who was then my almost fiance) bought a college class ring for me for a birthday -- and she really couldn't afford it. She really skimped and saved.
I still wear it everywhere -- not only because she gave it to me, but because I'm really proud of my alma mater and to be one of her alumni.
