Since 11 years I am in Germany now, and I visited a lot of greek discos and pubs. I just wanna say that the greek girls are great, WOW...!!!

the greek man should be very happy!!!

My english is bad, but the next time I ll write it in deutsch....

Billy, I used the special characters table to make the umlaut and other characters. Once in a while I don't have to consult the table...some of the combination/codes are stuck in my memory after having to do many essays in German.

Billy, it's in the windows menu under accessories. Look under system tools and there should be a "character map".

I used to take German from 7th to 8th Grade! I loved the language, but my family didn't think it would be useful http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/rolleyes.gif in the future http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif. So I ended up taking French, which I hated. Now I'm taking Latin...I LOVE IT! Although ppl think I'm psycho for liking it, LOL http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif.

I went into greek chat once and everyone was speaking greek.. I said something like~ why is everyone talking like that? Someone told me ~stupid girl this chat room is for greeks. I said~ well I am greek. They replied~ if you are greek, what am I saying--then starting speaking greek. I felk kinda stupid because by greek, I ment in a sorority! not that I could understand the language! Oh well..guess I won't go there again!

And I went to Germany this past summer it was the most beautiful place I've ever seen I couldn't believe my eyes! Plus for an extra bonus there is no drinking age! My cousin (I went there to visit family who is from there) and I went to this teen club..it was very weird to see everyone lagally drinking..but there is one bad thing about it..They drink their beer(and other drinks) warm..not cold! and they don't use any ice! this guy kept on buying my hot rum and cokes! I hope to go back there one day!!

Zeta girl yes there is a drinking age, but its much lower than ours. like 15 or 16. Some parts of scotland drinking age is if you can see over the bar

Billy's right, there is a drinking age in germany and it's 16, my mom's very best friend is german, and his entire family still lives there.

I am glad you liked it - but just a few comments. I agree with the others, the legal drinking age is 16, but kids can drink when their parents are present. And it is the first time that I hear that we Germans drink our beer warm....gross (I thought that was a British privilege) - sure, we don't put ice in it, that would water it down, but warm??? It is true though that soda/pop is usually not served with ice. I guess, people think it is chilled enough when it comes out of the fridge....
