question is that I have...why didn't they have protected sex...it doesn't seem like she was in the physical or mental state to carry a child to term........

Okay, I know I might fire up a debate I don't think I can handle, but if she lives in a state that allowed late second trimester abortions, it seems hard to make the case that although her behavior is disgusting from a public health standpoint (most of us down want human remains buried around our houses these days), that she did anything fundamentally less moral than having a doctor terminate the pregnancy for her. Weirder, yes, fundamentally different morally, no.

The whole article was upseting but this hits a little close to home for me b/c well.... this area is where I grew up! :( This is so disturbing.....
