i think Billy was trying to say ( or at least i hope http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif) why do girls look so GOOD with their letters on? and well, i think it's because when i'm wearing my letters, i'm glowing! i'm so proud and so enthusiastic about representing such an awesome organization, that i just don't stop smiling!

what i was trying to say was that girls who are "cute" to begin with are absolutely stunning and beutiful in a set of letters. Even in like jeans and a tshirt that has your sorority on it, you look like goddesses. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif What is espicaly cute is baseball caps when your ponytail is through the little hole in the back. I love yall. Greek letters just look cute on girls. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif IowaHawkeye, what org are you represinting? I'm sure you're a fine example of an outstanding group. I love sorority girls!! If anyone has any smart ass jokes or comments about you, come find me, and i'll set him straight!
Love,
Billy

Ok people, its a nice sentiment but sheez . . .

Look I love women also (you smell so much better than guys, are softer, and are more visually appealing), and wish there were more of you (a 100:1 ratio would be a good start) but that is such blatant ass-kissing http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif.

I prefer black "sorority pants", bare mid sections, and formal black cocktail dresses (ditch the prom dresses already ladies . . . it makes you look like unemployed bridesmaids looking for a wedding).

Billy stop being so nice . . . you'll get farther http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif.

Ok, just kidding, my sweet Fiance is the sexiest . . . but I wanted to tell Billy that ALL us DZ's are cute--and WV girls are the cutest!

on the ladies topic, I need to ask this : UGGGH! I so don’t understand you women! Heres the deal. My roomate (chick) has been after this alumni brother for about two years. He went to work in Japan for a few years and is now back stateside. They kept up with each other, email and the such and they kinda got dirty with it. Anyway, she gets an email from some anonymous chick saying stay away from him, hes a player (which is common knowledge) and he’d break her heart like he did hers. Well, she ignores it and when he comes in town for christmas, he totally disses her. Clowns her in front of all his friends and some brothers and BREAKS her heart in pieces, like stevie nicks, lindsay buckingham style. He tells her and us that he doesn’t want anyrthingt o do with her and for her to leave him alone, yada yada yada. OK, so I get home from chapter retreat last night (I led a recruitment workshop) and they walk in together all over each other. They hook up and spend the night together doing you know what.

Why is it some women always talk a bunch of smack then turn around and do the opposite of what common sense says? This also happened a month ago the exact same scenario with another female friend of mine. She talked the smack after she got clowned and then went back to the guy when he showed her about 3 minutes of attention (all us guys knew what he was going after), but the women seemed totally oblivious to it. FRUSTRASTING!! ALSO it haapend to another female friend of mine last year. And another one 4 years ago. Why do some of yall talk smack and don’t stick with it. It is toally a gals right to do that, but don’ speak the smack. Maybe cause women are more verbal and expressive and guys just shut up? I dunno.

A confused lifesaver.

So the best way to get a cute, sweet girl, is to act like dick so she thinks she can change me? Then If like her pretend to change, and be myself?? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/confused.gif

LOL DOH!!!! I just realized that I left out a word.

03-26-2001, 03:21 PM
nope Billy. best way is to NOT be like everyone else, and treat her well. the guys that have lasted with me, that have become significant relationships were not like these dicks. the dicks are the inbetween relationship guys.

LOL.

the minute the word "Change" is uttered in reference to either party in a relationship, the relationship is over. you cannot change someone. once you figure this out, you stop putting up with the abuse from jerks.

I too plead guilty to this scenario; been knocked down, then got back up again, just to get knocked down again. It took me TWO YEARS to learn. But it's just what Amy says. You kinda always hope that you will be the one to make them see the error of their ways. DUMB DUMB DUMB. I know. and learned from my mistakes.

This isn't a general thing. Some girls know when to tell guys where they should go. If you know what I mean. So no, being a jerk is not the best way to attract women Billy. Once you find a guy who treats you with decency and respect you question your sanity for every putting up with the less.

The way my Fiance got me (or how I got him http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif ) was because we both--after too many messed up relationships--finally acted like ourselves.

I had just been royally dumped by a total jerk who 'broke up with me' by bringing some chick to a night club (where we had planned to meet) and kissed her in front of me--like--kissed her while we were TALKING! Not just some random kiss that I happened to see--it was right in the middle of a conversation--and then he had the gull to INTRODUCE US. What an ass. Anyway--I was so tired of the night club scene and so ready to get away from those types of guys and the whole 'player' atmosphere. So I'm going to a Dave Matthew's concert, and this totally hot waiter (my fiance) waits on us. I leave him my number. He calls. We've been together ever since because we've never played those games. We NEVER went to night clubs or anywhere where you have the need to be social. We did things TOGETHER. Looking back--it's just so cool because we totally didn't play games. You know how when you first meet someone you want to impress them. Want to look nice, wear nice clothes. Our relationship never started out like that. We were totally honest with each other from the start. Our very first date we were talking religion--discussing it. Now how many first dates go that way? You're usually talking about your friends and your classes and what you like to do. We were deep with each other from the start and let each other know what we were all about. I've never been closer to anyone my entire life--and not only is he my 'lover' but he's my best friend too. That's the BEST part!

Just thought I would add a little 'advice' in there . . . sorry it was so long!

This is exactly what I want, but most times I find that a girl(that I'm serious about) isnt willing to commit to me. I was never a player myself(always kidded about it), maybe for me it was just a lack of confidence. The whole bar scene has definitely not been me in terms of meeting "the one". *L* I've always had the "nice guy/best friend syndrome" It almost seems like your better off meeting others through friends, sports games, the beach or at the gym where you might workout. Hopefully your right Amy about things being different now. I would never change myself to suit a lady. I might bend over backwards for a lady that I dig but if its not mutual than I'm not going to waste my time or hers. Every girl should definitely learn what its like to ask a guy out at least once. At least to know what guys go through. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Also listen tot his. The latest installment. My roomate called our friend Sara and told her EVERYTHING. I of course had guessed right, but LISTEn to what my player brother did to her, then listen to her reaction. UGH!

So they do the deed and about 4 Am they both kinda wake up and she says to him, "See I told you there would be no attachment of feelings." and he says "oh my god, I can't believe you took advantage of me while I was drunk like that. in some states that can be considered rape. Take me home right now." She was like what? And he repeated his request for her to take him home. They argued, and she took him home. So she is talking to sara today and she asks her if she (sara) wants to go to the coast thisweekend with my player brother! Sara was , "After what he did to you twice? You want to spend the weekend with him?" And my roomate was "Well, its different, you dont understand."

I'm like, "yeah, I dont understand why you dont change your name to guitar, cause you gettin played."

Why are some girls like this? Totally frustrating when you see a friend act the fool like this! Ima gonna stay out of it. Thats the only safe thing to do. Girl old enough to fight her own battles. i aint her daddy. And ya know what, its ok, 'cause we needed a new doormat anyway.

Personally I think that men wearing a sweater and khakis are the sexiest, especially if they are wearing Aqua Di Gio by Armani.... cologne, men, cologne,... wear it to the drug store, wear it to class, wear it with tee shirts, I cannot emphasize it enough. YUMMY! I actually followed this hot guy to class one day cause he was wearing that cologne. He probably thought I was a freak, but he smelled so good I wanted to cozy up to him.
And another thing, guys in hats with sunglasses look good, really tan.
Aww man, it must be spring, I have that "I gotta get me one" look in my eye!
