AWWWW. . .Congrats LXA! Your wife is MUCH more brave than I! I had blood drawn a couple weeks ago and had to have a sedative and 4 people hold me down! I'd hate to see what happens if I had children! What a truly magickal week for us ALL! ( http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif I cast a good luck spell over us all--or at least someone did!)

Thanks everyone, but, Carnation, sorry, 3 is plenty for me. 13? I can't even begin to imagine the challenges....wow. How do you find time to get on-line?

My great grandmother had 14 children, and outlived 12 of them. What a women, and raised them all in a small 4 room house (that's 4 rooms TOTAL) in Durango, Colorado.

Wow! What a woman she was to raise 14 back then without the modern conveniences...

Well, 12 are in school so it's fairly easy to get online at home and it's really easy when I'm at the college (I'm a professor). Students these days want to e-mail their profs instead of just picking up the phone!

What is it with professors having so many kids? Is it to take advantage of the free/discounted tuition? I have a prof with 9 kids, and know of at least one more with 11. I think there may be two profs here with 11 kids.

Corbin--

That's a good one! We only wish we got discounted tuition!! The only one that's in college so far is across the state!

I suppose we just like kids....

LXAAlum....Figured it out huh? I figured I was giving myself away with the whole ZAX post. Also I gave myself away a few other times with things I have said, that a brother would figure out. While I'm not quite the High Pi, just really active as an alum. Actually, we have a former ELC who is the acting High Pi, pending approval from the General Fraternity. Good Job though!

Lifesaver,
What chapter were you an undergraduate at, and, when did you graduate? I know quite a few LXA's from Texas, and would like to see if we have any mutual connections as a result.

Who is the High Pi of the chapter you are assisting with? A former ELC? I have an idea just who that might be, IF you are in the Dallas area.

I am sure we know some of the same people. I was initiated at Texas A&I university, now Texas A&M-Kingsville. I transfered to UT-San Antonio, where I finished my undergraduate chapter experience. Now, that is where I serve as one of several alumni advisors.

I know brothers from most chapters in the conclave (Southwest) from 93-97. UT, Tarleton, SMU, Oklahoma City Univ, WT, SWT, St. Mary's and of course UT-San antonio and A&M Kingsville.

I attended leadership Seminar in '93, '95, and '97 and General Assembly in '94 &'96. So I also remember a few guys nationally. I was planning on being an ELC until I saw what it paid. Papa's got to make a livin'!
