you have no idea. my car broke and i can't get to the beach. they are showing Chips the movie in one channel, and sincei ts sunday, tv evangelist galore on the other. Plus, a nature show which i've already seen 6 times this week. and the other channel have Jack Frost for the second time in 3 days.

My Satellite TV is down also, so no cartoon network or sci fi channel. I hate sundays.

I believe the magic number is 50 before you become a 'Senior Member'. There are no higher rankings except those members designated 'Moderator' or 'Administrator'.

On one board I'm a regular in (dac.senternet.com), they rank their posters like this:

Junior Collector (0-50 posts)
Collector (51-249 posts)
Senior Collector (250-499 posts)
Master Collector (501-999 posts)
Insane Collector (1000-1999 posts)
Complete Wacko! (2000+ posts)

Another board (www.edodo.org/rumormill - the underground BB for Air Force Academy cadets, graduates and others with ties to the Air Force or the military, current or former):

Lurker (0-4 posts, 1 chevron)
Ace (5-20 posts, 2 chevrons)
Message Board Qualified (21-49 posts, 3 chevrons)
Message Board Cadre (51-99 posts, 4 chevrons)
Centurian (100-199 posts, 1 bar)
Double Centurian (200-299 posts, 2 bars)
Triple Centurian (300-499 posts, 3 bars)
500 Club (500+ posts, 4 bars)

Regular contributors (regardless of rank) get 2 stars, staff members of eDodo get 3 stars, and the admin is the only 4-star of the bunch.

Some take rankings to the extreme, and there are more than a few 'post whores' who like 'spamming' for rank; contributing very little information (the equivalent of the immature 'Me too!' AOLer) to the board just so they can boast of high rank. A few boards have kicked out some of these 'no-loads' for that reason.
