Hey sis! You know after looking at everyones fees, I think we need to raise ours. lol. It's all gravy though, we do get a LOT compared to what we pay and what others pay. Don't we all wish you know who (s) could see this. lol.

Wow, y'all's dues are very reasonable!! Do they fund all of the social and service events you guys have every year? I wonder if national GLO dues are more expensive simply because they include national fees. Sorry, just thinking 'aloud'. Any ideas?

thats a good question. Actually both of your questions are good. So hmm one question at a time: Taussu, wow that is very low, my question would be the same, does that cover all the events and stuff u all do during the yr or particial things, just out of curiosty.
Now Browneyedg, question, thats something i wonder too, but I think National Dues are expensive because they pay the national fees of course and then other things such as insurance, and other things such as , which I think is what makes it as steep as some nationals are.

NO that does not include everything, come time for our formal we each pay for our meals. Plus any other event we normally make or donate some sort of food or whatever. if we have a event on campus, its sometimes easier for the sistes to bring thier own thing, cause they have a policy that if you are serving food you are requierd to order though Bears Den (caf.) but if the sisters just brign it we can claim it was donated :D

wow, everybody's dues seem so low compared to my last school. ours were 220 a semester and set to go up this semester to even out to all the other chapters on campus. and that didn't include the food plan for the house or t-shirts/events.

We pay 35 dollars a month and there is a fee of 25 charged to each member at the beginning of each semester. That feel helps us to do things for our house. We also have fines for everything! LOL..so we make a good eal of money off of that, that money usually goest to scholarships and philanthropy and other things like that. We pay for our formals out of pocket though, but it's not bad. A lot better than what some of my friends that are in nationals pay!

You all are lucky! Our fees are 510 a semester. new member fees are like 160 plus 65 minimum for a pin. Plus shirts and socials and.... I think my first semester I spent like 1,000 bucks. I think its worth it though and are dues are like the lowest on campus.

ZetaKris, in my dorm we bought a new TV by returning bottles and cans and saving the deposits. It was a pain in the neck, but it was worth it when we had a new big screen tv!

Hi.. I"m From Kean University, NJ. Our sorority, Sigma Beta Chi's dues are 75 for old sisters and 85 for the new ones who have just finished new member education. From that we pay for mixers, shirts and things for teas, greek olympics and other activities. I'd love to hear from anyone who's from NJ! ;)
