Hey all! I was wondering how other locals deal with issues like group insurance, what Greek events you can and cannot participate in on your campus, Greek ID's, etc. Any help/info. would be very appreciated! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

Thanks!

We're not really having problems with any Greek group, specifically...they're just not very open to the idea of us affiliating with an NPC. If we had insurance, we would be able to participate in more campus Greek activities, but as of now insurance is just too expensive. We participate in informal rush, which I like better than formal rush anyway. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif Each year, it seems that we are more accepted so, hopefully, eventually we'll be able to affiliate with an NPC and have the same rights as any other Greek on campus.

Hi! To answer your question, for my local sorority, we don't have any insurance. Our universities do not recgognize any Greek letter group. Since there are only 3 sororities, and only one of them is NPC, we do not participate in "true rush". We all interact with each other, with little problem. We have yet to do any MASS greek events through (greek games, greek council). Are you having problems from other greek groups??
