First meeting!

My national dues and chapter dues are sent in, I need to buy my book and my first meeting with the Cherry Blossom Alum chapter is on December 3rd. I cant wait!!!

How do you manage your time with all your different affiliations? I can't imagine having so many.

I think it is the pledge book... or something like that!

Well, I dont do much with TBS as alum, I do volunteer work for Phi Sigs and BSP meets once a month. Its kind of like Phi Sig being a part time job, then having the BSP meetings every month and the GSS meetings will be every once in a while... I forget how often. I was involved in many more organizations in college and kept track of those meetings fairly well! GSS was a dream of mine in college - I wanted to help form a chapter at Clarion, and it didnt work out - plus its a great way for me to be involved in service projects in the DC area :)

To the OP - are you joining as an alumnus? Are you going through MIT? Have you recieved your MIT pin?

I have been out of college qutie a while now, and if things have changed, let me know. I just joined my alum chapter after moving back home to CT from MA for 10 years.

Ahh! Its today! I cant believe it! :) I got my gift for the gift exchange, Im buying the pop for the dinner today... and Im meeting a sister in Fairfax at 5 to ride together! Im so excited. These women have completey accepted me and I feel so lucky to have this oppertunity!

Its official! The meeting was great! We had a gift exchange... all of my SISTERS are so incredibly nice and welcoming! They had a short informal ritual for me- since there wasnt anything official for auxillary members. It was so incredibly sweet!

I was slated for VP Membership, and tonite voted in! Its been a big day! I will eventually have pictures, buy my camera didnt want to work tonite, Ill have someone email me one!
