Wow, I actually have a relative that I know that will go Greek too. My mom told me one of my nieces pledged this fall, but didn't know which sorority. I have three guesses where I think she would join, but I could be wrong. I'll update when I find out and it's over, but won't give name or school.

Anyway, I just thought that was really cool.

And one of you that replied is a member of one of the organizations on that campus that i predict she'll join. But I won't tell you which one... ;)

Well Jon did narrow it down to 3 groups so that's a little something. VERY LITTLE I might add.

4 groups...if you look at the posters above it is: ADPi, AXD, AGD, and SK.

And Jon...your posts are kind of confusing...if your niece is 'pledging' she already joined a sorority--so why are you 'predicting' which one she'll join? Has she already joined, or is she in the process of rushing?

Actually all he said is that ONE of the posters is in ONE of the 3 groups he thinks she joined. Which means there are two other groups that she may have joined that weren't represented in those posters. So there's still a big field of prospective groups.

OK I meant it in the way that I am wondering why he won't post the results. Why make a post and not tell the ending when it has already happened? I could understand if she was currently participating in recruitment, but from my understanding in reading this thread this young woman has been through rush and her uncle is just not sure what NPC GLO she is in. I am happy for this young woman wherever she goes no matter what GLO she went to because I think they are all wonderful!! I just want to know the results to congratulate her.

People are curious which sorority she pledged.........just like they are in every other recruitment thread. There's no need to be the voice of contention in every thread.

It's an Earp-ism. Meaning that it is used in place of a completely different word, just to throw you off the track.

For the last three years I have been regularly searching for glowing pieces of the GUTS Aggro-Crag on Ebay. I figure ONE of the dozens of kids who won that show is hard up for cash. No dice.

Alpha Sigma Alpha
Alpha Chi Omega
Delta Zeta
Sigma Kappa
Sigma Sigma Sigma

The ones in bold were among the three orgs I predicted she would join. None of my guesses were correct, but she joined a great chapter anyway! All six chapters have NICE houses and awesome women and I'm really happy for her. I know that probably came across as cheesy, but it's true.

By the way, she is now a member of ASA.

Rub it in! Rub it in! :p And here I thought AGD was in the running since Jon said it was one of the 3 or whatever groups that had posted... And Alpha Gam wasn't even on the campus...LOL...That's ok!

It is very cool no matter what when you read a thread and see that a PNM has chosen your soroity, so Alpha Frog and our other ASA friends enjoy! :)
