Hello Sorors! this is SOLID GOLD representing the EPSILON LAMBDA Chapter at North Carolina Central University. I just registered at GC and I hope this message board gets a little more active!

Miss Duck - email me anytime so we can talk about VUU. I was down in Richmond this weekend for the Gold Bowl - too bad we we didn't meet.

Yours in Music and Service....

I was just wondering how that was going for you. Can we get an update?

You'll have to excuse this board . . . it doesn't see much action. I wish that we had more sisters who posted on this site. It would be fun :D

My name is Emily (Emmi) and I am from Clarion University of PA, the Delta Omicron chapter of Tau Beta Sigma which is (obviously) in the NED. I am doing very well this evening . . . although wondering how my roomates are doing. They're both sisters here but I haven't seen them since last night (and it's now 10:00 pm)! Since I'm going through roomate withdrawl I'm feeling a bit chatty. What is your chapter like? Ours is small, but very close-knit and we get done what we're here to do. We recently had 3rd degree for our one MC this semester so we now have 14 actives. Unfortunately 4 sisters will be leaving us at the end of the semester. We'll just have to have an awesome recruitment next fall! I'm going to stop talking now and let people respond to this.

The KKY board is dead. Seems like there's not that many brothers on our board.

Hi Emmi!!

It's good to hear from you and congratulations on your MC! Our chapter is small too, but we get the work done. Our spring semester looks very promising for our candidacy process and I'm very much looking forward to it!! Keep me posted on what's going on with ya!!!

What's up, BLUTANG!

I think we've met on the board before, but anywayz... it's good to hear from you too! How are things going at NCCU?? I agree... I wanna see a lot more activity on the board!! Let's see what we can do about that, sorors and bruhs!

Hey Jen!

I have a good friend who is an AOPi as well (I hope that is what your screen name meant). You guys are so large here at UAB! For homecoming, you all won the spirit competition!! Congratulations on your MCs!!!! Give us some names and we'll be happy to send an e-card or snail mail.

PandaOnProzac: Feel free to drop in on us anytime. I say between you, me, Jen, BLUTANG, and Emmi... we can stir up some interesting conversations. Hope to hear from you soon.

Gotta go to class.... lata & I love you!

Passing through here. Was a sister at Epsilon Alpha chapter at the University of South Carolina from 1987-1990. At the time we had over 50 active sisters and a strong KKS chapter. I heard recently there were barely 6 sisters left. Apparently in 1999 KKS went co-ed and that sucked the life out of TBS.

A shame. I have only fun memories.
