Greetings from IZS of Atlanta!

I'm just curious to see what everyone's favorite hobbies are. I started a cake decorating hobby in 2003 and now I am working towards owning my own bakery.

What do you like to do outside of your daily activities?

the way you are with baking I am with plants. I was thinking of starting a side business venture involving house plants, so I love to go to plant nurseries and browse(and buy!)... I also love books so I love roaming mom and pop bookstores.

Sorhor Bakingpoodle and friends,

I make jewelry (beading) and love to sketch cartoon characters. I'm really into drawing dangerous looking clowns.

Needlepoint, cross stitch and knitting. I've been doing more needlepoint than knitting and cross stitch lately though. I started cross stitching as an undergrad, and picked up needlepoint and knitting in grad school. For needlepoint, I go to a really great needlepoint shop and take classes from one of the best stitchers I know. I taught myself how to knit by buying one of those 'Teach yourself to knit in one day' books from a craft store. I love the needle arts. Next I would like to learn how to make quilts.

I like working with needles too! -- Knitting, crocheting and needlepoints/embroidery. I was always pretty good at it too since I learned when I was a pre-teen. I just don't do it much because I don't have the time. But I find that it relaxes me so I need to make time. I also love gardenening but you can't tell by looking at my yard. :p
