New Theta Chi Chapter

One of my very good friends is colonizing a Theta Chi chapter at the University of Tampa next fall. Are there any alumni in the area (or not) who have tips and are willing to help out?

This is kindof late. But we just were installed as IZ chapter in November. We hold the record for the fastest time from interest group to full chapter (two years). I hope they get a good group of guys and can tie us or even break that.

I know this thread hasn't been active for over a year, but I was bored and surfing the web....

Anyway, I am the current president of the EZ Chapter of Theta Chi at The Univerversity of Tampa. We just finished the Spring '03 and we are getting huge. We officially recieved our charter in November (it only took us one year). Our numbers have constantly grown from an interest group of 20 to over 50 at the end of this semester. We also just won the Outstanding Fraternity Chapter of the Year for 2002-2003 at UT. We have become such a force on campus in such a short time. We have countless varsity athletes in the chapter and many campus leaders, as well. Theta Chi is back at The University of Tampa to stay.

I thought I would just update this thread and let everyone know how our chapter has done in the last 2 years. We never imagined that we would have done this well, but we had so much support and determination. My chapter rocks and Theta Chi is the best damn fraternity in the world.
