Is there ANY way we as citizens can stop all these frivilous lawsuits that cost taxpayer money?

A San Diego lawyer is suing the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim baseball team for what he calls sex and age discrimination.

Alfred Rava filed a suit on behalf of a man who was denied a tote bag during a Mother's Day promotion last year.

Rava has also sued the San Diego Padres and the Oakland Athletics over Mother's Day promotions.

He's also sued bars for giving women discounts on "ladies' night."

Some attorneys say Rava is abusing California's "unruh civil rights act" to get hefty out-of-court settlements.

A new tote bag would be easier.

Yep, although they seemed to be focusing more on the plaintiff himself and not the lawyer. They talked about it on the Dan Patrick show too, and Wilbon went off on a whole other tangent.

There should be a limit to the amount of times one can sue in a lifetime.
