Convention 2006!

I looked all around for a convention 2006 thread but couldn't find one.

So who else is going? I can't wait :) The seminars look absolutely amazing. Chicago, here we come!

You know I'll be there, baby! :D I can't wait - I had such a good time 2 years ago in Orlando.

I hope that we'll have time on Sunday to go to Wrigley Field. I can't be in Chicago & not go there!!

I am so sad that I cannot go. The bar exam is the next week so it would be very irresponsible. You all have to let me know how it was and where it is in 2 years. I'm not missing 2008 for anything.

I'm seriously in withdrawal. I moved to Nevada where ther are no collegiate chapters.

I've never been and would love to go, but it's kind of expensive for me. :( The AGD convention in Chicago sounded awesome!

I wish they'd let us know in advance where the next 2-3 conventions will be held.

Boo - I was hoping that you were going to be able to make it to this one!!

I too wish they would have advance announcements so that people can make plans to attend & start saving. I also wish there was something to make it more affordable. Don't get me wrong, I got a lot of stuff at the last one, but $900 is a lot of money - I wouldn't be able to go if I had to pay my own way.

I got my credentials the other day - we are voting on changing the new member ceremony -- it looks like it will be much better & more "serious" this new way. I just PRAY that we don't end up being in session for 92378598 hours arguing over every "a" "and" and "the" like we did with the initiation ceremony 2 years ago. The Ritual Task Force, as always, have worked very hard on this so I hope that things go well.

Convention was definitely one of the best times of my life. I had a blast (despite the heat wave in Chicago) and met some amazing people. One woman I sat beside at a meeting attended her first convention in 1951! It was inspiring, and I'll be in Scottsdale in 2008!
