Does anyone else use call tones?

I had a dilemna today. I got a call from a place that I sent my resume into. I have "La Tortura" playing for my call tone. They must've thought my voicemail came on right away so hung up. I called back saying I had a missed call from there, blah blah. Anyways I turned off the call tones in case I got any other interview calls, since I probably lost this one.

So my question is... I'm tryin to set it to where it only plays from 7pm-7am but it won't reset and it's aggravating. Does anyone know what to do? It said you have to make a group and add numbers and all this crap but I don't wana do that.

It's like, I think they're called, Verizon Ringback? I don't remember who came out with it first, but when someone calls you, instead of the caller hearing the normal "ring ring", it plays a song.

Ohhh is that what it is? Ok. A few of my friends have that and I always hang up right away because I think it is their voicemail.

Listen. I would get rid of it completely if I were you. Especially if you are trying to get a job. It's not very professional you know?

You might not want to have that feature right now. It's too new so a lot of people don't know what it is yet. You don't want to confuse people. I don't have any friends that have that yet, but I can't wait till they do get it. I see it as one more opportunity to judge and criticize poor taste.

If I called someone and some gay ass laffy taffy song came on I would hang up.

Lol I know about the unprofessional thing. That's why I was trying to figure out how to set it to the 7pm-7am feature. I freakin wasted money for these ringers.

I have one...and now everyone thinks it's the wrong number or something is messed up with my phone.

It makes me mad because I think I have a cool call tone. I may have to change it though.

My daughter's father has this. Every time I call him I hear Biggie. It confuses me.

They are different than ring tones. Instead of hearing a ring tone when someone calls you, you are hearing a call tone when you call someone else. My sister used to have one but has thankfully realized how unprofessional they are & has removed it. Everytime I called her I heard Destiny's Child.

I didn't know that either.

I doubt I'll get it though. I already have a local radio station guy speaking on my voicemail's outgoing message and people already get confused.

Um, take the loss. If you are trying to find a job I'd take it off completely. You shouldn't worry about setting it for 10:31- 1:19 until you've taken care of business.

Gotta spend the money to make the money baby. Spendy spendy for the makey makey.

my x had this with t-mobile and before the song played you heard him say, "please hold while your call is connected" i thought it was stupid, but i'm sure it prevented hang ups... maybe sprint has a similar service???

Just suck it up and turn it off.

One of my friends has this but it says "Please enjoy the music while your party is reached" and she has a jazz song.

Access your account online, go to content manager, settings and change ti that way. That is by far the simplest way it can be done pretty much the same way on the phone, just takes much longer.
