Barbara....ZTA badge up for auction!

Hi Barbara,

The auction is still fairly early, but what's really sad is the seller of the badge. She's a DPhiE and apparently she's selling other GLOs badges and paraphenalia. She tries to defend herself in her "About Me" page saying that she rescues these badges from being sent to the melting pot, but I think it's bull...and she knows that she can make $$$ with the badges.

It really saddens me to see Greeks selling treasured badges. You'd think that they'd be respectful about it.

apparently a ZTA is the highest bidder so it's not a biggie (according to the message boards on the sisters only section of zta.org) but ladies check this badge out bc it has to be one of the prettiest I have EVER seen out of all the orgs out there but of course I'm always favoring Zeta :)

oh wow. that really is a beautiful pin. I have to get a new pin bc I lost mine during prefs. :( I want the diamond and sapphire one (my big has it and it's beautiful) but I'm kinda low on funds. So, looks like either the plain gold or silver pin.

:mad: Just to let you all know, I've seen lots of badges on eBay and two pledge pins just this week. ZTA stuff is just everywhere on eBay!!! It's really very sad. I contacted eBay about them, because technically, the pledge pins were stolen if you think about it. Anyway, I hope IO knows about these, but at least now eBay does too. :( This is just so sad and frustrating! There's even a buyer on there who is just some random guy out there who collects fraternity and sorority badges!:eek: So, whatever he buys is just gonna sit or be re-sold!!! Anyway, I just had to vent because some of the people who are buying them really have no concept of what they mean and it just sucks, period.
