I downloaded off the internet a rather true-to-form "home version" of the famous 80s game show "Press Your Luck". This game contains "replicas" of all the original slides of cash, prizes, and Whammies from the show, all the numerous board formations and configurations, and the light rotation "lists". It also contains numerous sound effects from the show (contestants, Peter Tomarken, the board spinning, the Whammy SFX, etc.).

Here are some pix from my computer game:

If you don't like answering questions to earn spins, you can earn spins instead by using one of three homemade "spin" boards.

First round board (notice Pamela's score in the lower right hand corner. Dang good for a first round, huh?)

Being prompted to "Press Your Luck or Pass?"

One of the biggest wins to date.

BONUS PIC: I had some friends over and since we got done watching Good Times, we decided to assume the names of various Good Times characters. Well, life must imitate art, because the outcome of the game reflected what probably would've happened to them on the show:

Actually, there was a remake a few years back on GSN called "Whammy! The All New Press Your Luck".
