The Voices of Tigger & Piglet Passed Away

Paul Winchell (http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/Movies/06/26/obit.winchell.ap/index.html) (voice of Tigger) and John Fiedler (http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/TV/06/27/obit.fiedler.ap/index.html) (voice of Piglet) both passed away this weekend.

Tigger was my favorite Winnie the Pooh character. :( I'm very sad.

The guy who did Pooh's voice, Sterling Holloway, was from a town just down the road and he died a few years ago. The people in the town were heartbroken--they named a major street after him.

I remember seeing Paul Winchell and his puppets on tv when I was little. Does this ever make me feel old.

ETA - I just realized who John Fiedler was - little mousey Mr. Peterson on The Bob Newhart Show (one of my favorite shows.)
