we (iota psi chapter) are doing well at elon! as i mentioned before we just tied w/ sigma kappa for the highest sorority gpa (3.31). our chapter has grown a lot since colonization - i think my pledge class this year had like 40-50 girls. also we did very well in greek week and got 2nd in the dance competition (out of 7 sororities). well i need to stop bragging now, but that's what we've been up to!

Hi everyone! My name is Emily and after debating long and hard I finally decided to go greek in my 3rd year of school... I know...a little late! One plus is that the delay has given me time to really get to know the houses on my campus and I've found that AXO is truly my home! So many of the AXOs were my sisters by friendship before and it's even better to call them my sorority sisters now. I'm still going through the new member period so I'm not going to identify my chapter for awhile because I'm really afraid of posting info I shouldn't post or committing a major faux pas. I know I'll get the hang of everything in time though, so please be patient with me!

Anyway I've been lurking for a few days now and I have to say, GC has given me some of the *best* entertainment I've had in long time...especially the rush stories! After my roommate (another AXO) and I laughed hysterically for a few nights I knew I had to sign up. Anyway I hope to get to know all of you better!

If you aren't comfortable identifying your school/chapter, that is perfectly fine. As a new member, if you ever have questions about what is or is not appropriate to share, you can always ask your VP Education (she is the one that guides the new member program among other things!), your big sister, your chapter advisor, or anyone else that you feel comfortable asking about policies and/or procedures! As you learn more about AXO, you will be more comfortable in posting & we will wait to hear from you!

if only we had a house! currently our chapter is one of the few that remain house-less. the university has a no greek housing policy but rumor has it that it may happen in a few years. as for now, the closest thing we have to housing is several girls renting an apartment together.

I'm not an AXO (obviously) but I have an awesome cousin & her best friend whom are now seniors at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and members of the AXO chapter there (Epsilon Omega (http://www.sloalphachi.com/)).
This week, I was partnered with a casual acquaintance from previous classes at La Verne only to learn that she is an alumna of the Cal State Fullerton AXO chapter (Epsilon Kappa).

I'm surrounded by AXO's and never realized it.

Still, my heart broke a little that they all went AXO at schools with SK chapters. ;):p
