Hey everybody -

This weekend's traveling takes me to sunny, lovely Wilmington, DE - I was wondering if anyone from the area has any quick tips for me on the following:

-Any decent shuttles from the Philly Airport to DE . . . I can cab it w/out problem apparently, but it would be nice to get a shuttle for the insanely early return trip, so I'm not trying to hook a cab at 5am. Google yields just an absolute mess of returns, but nothing solid.

-What's the nightlife/dining like in Wilmington? We've heard bad things, and there's significant downtime due to production and flight scheduling. Hook a kid up.

Thanks guys

RC

Not totally sure about the shuttle situation... Rapid Rover is always a pretty good bet though.

My boyfriend goes to school down there, so he could probably get you some info on the nightlife/dining stuff. I'll ask him tonight.

I'm in the area. I live in West Chester, PA. For me, Wilmington is about 20 minutes away from me (down Rt. 202.)

One of my fav. places to eat is the Iron Hill Brewery. (www.ironhillbrewery.com). They have locations in West Chester, Media, North Wales, Newark and Wilmington.

For more ideas on dining, here's the website for visiting Wilmington: http://www.visitwilmingtonde.com/LeisureVisitors2.aspx?mt=lv&cat=Dining

Remember...Delaware doesn't have sales tax in their state! :)
