How about Colorado? The state went for Bush, but elected a Democratic US Senator, Democratic US Representative and give the Democrats a majority in both houses of our legislature -- with a mid-term Republican Governor -- who is a good buddy of the President.

I'm not sure who was elected Benevolent Dictator in the People's Republic of Boulder."
