I'm an alum initiate of Beta Gamma (MIchigan State University, East Lansing, MI). I was a member of their AAC last year (hope to help out this year but I don't think I'd be able to as a member of the AAC because of time for grad school!)

I am envious that you will soon be back with your sisters and active, etc. I will really miss working with the ladies of Beta Gamma. I hope to get up there a few times during the year at least (I'm only about an hour and a half from the chapter). I also wish that I were able to have made it to convention this year. Oh well, I'm sure I can swing Norfolk in 2003 (and hit the Gettysburg reenactment either going to or coming from!--basically make a driving vacation of it) I also want to make it down to headquarters one of these months. I've talked to Paula Beasley and Colleen Reed about possibly going down and doing my Masters final project in the archives. =) What are you going to school for?

For dance and criminal justice. I have always danced and want to own myown studio someday. It has been about 2 years since I hve been in school. and I miss my sisters sooooo much. Even more now that I have become ADDICTED to greekchat!!!!!!!!
This is horrible, I am on here soooo much, but owell, it keeps me motivated to be in school!!

My youngest brother is studying Criminal Justice at Winona State University (MN) and I think he eventually wants to get into the FBI--right now he's just asking for books on serial killers! Told him he could scare some people if he wasn't careful!
I actually haven't been around GC very much. I've checked it the past couple of days, though. I'm going to have to drop an e-mail to Beta Gamma to see if there is anything they want me to help out with on an irregular basis. I don't even know who the chapter adviser is this year (the previous one has a new baby so she doesn't have as much time).

Anyway, hope you have a great evening. By the way, feel free to e-mail me off the boards if you would like.

I'm a very strong proponent of doing what you like. I switched from International Econ to History and Archaeology because I liked them and am currently working on my M.S. in Historic Preservation (and getting to work on Titanic) Doors open more quickly if you do what you like---you can always worry about the paycheck thing later. =)

Hello ladies! just wanted to share...I was watching the animal planet channel today, and it was the show where they are at the vet and fixing a hurt animal, and the owner was on there....WEARING HER AOPI LETTERS!
