Aw man, I graduated too damn early... but I dont think that Gray Davis signed mine, I'll have to check.
Is it a real autograph, or just a stamp?

I'm pretty sure its' just a stamp or whatever... becuase I'm pretty sure he signs all the UC and CSU school diplomas... they just had a news article with some Cal students complaining that it "cheapened their Berkeley degree" to have the terminator sign it. I'll bet Gray signed yours you just didn't notice...

Actually, most politicians and some celebrities use something called an Autopen. It digitally remembers the signature of each person and can exactly duplicate the signature on just about anything: pens, papers, pictures, shirts, etc... I know Gore used one all of the time at the campaign for his signed material.
BTW, CONGRATS!!!

My B.S. degree was signed by a woman who DIED before I walked across the stage to get it! (I graduated in December, and we only have one ceremony a year. The diplomas are actually handed-out at the ceremony.)
