I received official word Tuesday (3/9/04) that I would be initiated w/ the collegiates on Saturday March 20th. :D:):D:)

Just a little update...

Last night’s (alum) potluck dinner was tasty and I met the current collegiate chapter advisor. She told me she would call in a few days b/c the location is still being worked out.:)


Badge choices for both GLOs

For AI -- I narrowed my badge choice down to two (quasi-bling or bling-bling). I will post the name close or after to 3/20 -- sorry to keep you waiting, but its only 9 days away.:D

For the Beta ROJ badge its between the mini-jeweled (18 synthetic pearls) or full-jeweled (18 Crownset pearls) both look nice. It's the 7th pin down when you click on the link below. For those who do not know I made Ritual of Jewels for BSP (1 of 6 degrees) ok I know your thinking enough about Beta.:)

Summary of Initiation Day (3/20)...

WooHoo, I’m Home at Last after 9 loooong months of waiting!!
A F Alpha Lambda Chapter :D:):D

At approximately 9:20am PST, 7 proud new members were initiated, into the Epsilon Gamma chapter! Later in that day, We had wonderful banquet at Andiamo with sisters, family, & friends.
I still have not decided on which badge to get yet. :D:):D

Ok Melody your next in line for AI! A big Thank You to all especially the A-Phis here on GC and other fellow Greeks who sent good wishes/vibes my way.

Then Group A was the most receptive and have had approximately 3-4 other AIs. There were lots of phone emails, IMs and emails w/ Group A The application for Group A was sent in around the 10th day of June. The national office approve AI application towards the end of June. Then came the waiting to meet more alums. Some I've only seen once so far and others just about at every event.

Then I got the 1st I-Date of November 8th but it had to be rescheduled....Then the wait game again. Then March 8th came along and the Initation date was given March 20th. A few days later I learned about an "Event (7pm tonight)" and the time of I-Day (9am). That takes me to today's update.
