What's in store for 2004?

Greetings, Sorors!

Sometimes it takes writing things down to make them real and to make one accountable for them. In lieu of making any New Year's resolutions, then, I offer this thread: post here what you are going to do in 2004. All the world will be able to see what you've got planned, all the world can hold you accountable for not doing it! How's that for motivation???

I stopped making resoultions a long time ago. ;) I always write down the things I want to accomplish for the year

This year:
I am dedicated to getting in shape and making other improvments so that I can be the finest thing in Dallas:D :cool:

I plan on moving to a larger apartment

Working on getting my teacher certification

and finally Working hard for my ONEderful sorority Theta Nu Xi!!!!

I ddin't make any resolutions on NY but what i would like to do in 2004 is:

-Get in shape!
-Finish my 2nd degree
-Get more sisters on GC! :)

As a whole, i would like to TNX strive more than it has in the past! It would wonderful for everyone to know who we are!!!

Back in January, I started this thread as a place for folks to post their plans for the year in public to make them accountable for following through. I am thrilled to announce that I did, indeed, do as I planned.

I finished my Ph.D.!!

Yes, ladies, it's now official. I am Dr. Egyptian Breeze :)

So my birthday was yesterday, and as always I do a mid year assesment on how I'm coming along.

You'll be proud to know that I moved in to a 1bedroom apartment in April of this year, I've been doing Weight Watchers since June and have lost 3 pounds,and hopefully I wil be starting a alternativer teacher certification program soon

This worked last year, so I am going to make myself publicly accountable again this year...

In 2005, I will see my name in print. I will have at least one article published in a peer-reviewed journal, and I will have at least one more accepted for publication in a similar scholarly journal.

Okay, now I've said it...wish me luck!
