I'm watching right now. I'm a little cynical, but why is that most of the girls are hot and all have great bodies. But the men.....while there's a few hotties, some are not so easy on the eyes.

I wonder what the cast would have looked like if they hadn't looked at picutres when they were selecting the people.

that being said, I'm gonna' watch! :p

13 week interview! I can hardly stand 20 min interviews! I felt the pressure watching this. Trump would have eaten me alive if I was on that show, although I wouldn't be chasing down bicyclers trying to get them to drink my lemonade so I'd probably do better than that David guy. Troy reminded me of a guy I used to work for at one of those companies that made you go out and sell crap to businesses in different cities (DS-Max I think was the company) They try to get you all fired up and get excited about walking around all day and say "I'm juiced by that" when all you want to do is punch them in the face. And Sam definitely needs someone to punch him in the stomach and tell him to shut up just like he said.

Buh Bye! I didn't come from a family of millionares, but when some of those girls got to Don's "crib" they acted like they had never seen nice things before. Ladies, try going to a museum, priceless works of art are housed there, not just Don's imported flavor of the month girly. And "how long does it take to clean a place like this?" Ask the maids, not the trophy girl. Even if you come from a small town, I know they've got tv's there. UGH.

But, I'll still watch again.

And bad taste -- if you had hung around for more of the show, you would have seen his incredibly tacky, garish, gaudy, and way-too-overdone-on-the-gold apartment. Seriously, those folks (especially Sam) need to chill out some. Tammy Lee is going to bring new meaning to the "b" word, and Sam is one high-powered a$$-kisser. We're already looking forward to next week.

I'm glad that Mr. Adrienne and I weren't the only ones to think this way about The Donald's penthouse. Actually, we thought it looked like a casino. (Specifically, the Bellage in Vegas.)

We're hooked too. Interesting to see what Trump et al comes up with for "interviewing" and testing of business skills, and how he evaluates people. Even though this is a "reality" show, there's a tad bit more intelligence in this one than most.

I too got sucked in.

I hate Sam, I really do not like his personality at all.

I think Oasara (spelling) dresses very inappropriately and think she will not last long.

I was somewhat pleased they fired the MD/MBA because this is probably the first time in his life that he has not succeeded at anything. I hope that taught him a lesson. I don't mean that in a malicious way, it's just failing is something everyone needs to go through I think it's somewhat of a disservice to all those over achievers that never ever fail at anything.

I don't really know who I think has "what it takes" but the show is so ridiculous that I bet they will show everyone at their worst and at their best.

I also was a bit displeased at how soon the women used their "sex appeal," I wonder if that will end up biting them in the butt later on down the road.

Okay, I don't live in NYC and I don't have a business degree, but I just don't understand why none of them tried any of these for a location:
-Central Park (hello, thirsty people exercising, cycling and rollerblading!)
-Grand Central Station (zillions of commuters)
-Times Square

And the men should have gone to the gay village and stripped off their shirts to sell their lemonade, because they would have made more money. (Women might be heebed out by shirtless men selling lemonade , but gay men would not).

Cream, you are from NYC, what do you think of these locations?
I would think that they have lots of foot traffic??

Peaches-n-Cream
01-10-2004, 12:29 AM
I think it depends on the weather and the time of year. If the weather is hot and sunny, then Central Park is a very busy place. Grand Central is busy year round especially during rush hour 7 to 9 AM and 5 to 7 PM. Since it is indoors, the weather doesn't matter so much. Times Square is busy as are Madison Square Garden and the Javits Center when there are events.

Damn, my opinions have changed since last week.

I thought Tammy was a bitch, and now I think that her attitude/style is what won the competition for her tonight.

I like Omarosa last week, and now I think she is a drama queen. Correct me if I am wrong, but she called Erika racist for using the phrase "pot calling the kettle black."

I still think Sam needs to go, and I almost wonder if he was kept around for entertainment value. I'm sorry, but there was no excuse for falling asleep.

Why did they have to fire the hot one???

Sam should soooo be fired!! What's up with keeping him around? Not only does he have no chance of getting the job, but he is an @$$ and his face doesn't keep me wanting to watch.

They fired a hot boy. :(

I don't know, but I still like Omorosa. I think both she and Erika both have issues, but Erika blows up. Why is it that she is the only one that has such a huge problem with Omorosa? When Omarosa suggested they draw names to see who would be in charge, Erika began shouting at here. Oh geez.

Trump fired Jason, aka hot boy. Though I don't like Sam, I knew Trump was going to fire Jason simply because his decision is based on who he feels caused the failure of the team. While it is stupid and unprofessional of Sam for falling asleep, it did not directly cause the failure. Jason should have met with the president esp. since the guys thought they should. Next week should be interesting though with Sam as the leader.

i was thinking the same thing. she is just overly sensitive. i cannot stand when people look for racist comments that are not there in everthing people say. has she not heard of the phrase 'pot calling the kettle black?' she got on my nerves for that very reason. for someone that thinks she is so bright, she isnt.

Someone pointed out on TWoP that Omorosa's name backwards is almost "ass-o-rama." LOL

I think that the women are going to lose deliberately next week to try to boot Omorosa. She's bringing the morale of the team WAY down. Although I could see the men trying to lose deliberately in order to boot Sam, too.

I'm torn as to who I find more annoying - Omorosa or Sam. Sam would be slightly less annoying if someone gave him some Ritilin, but there isn't anything that's going to change Omorosa's bitchiness. Even if Erika leaves, I think Omorosa may just pick out someone else to fight with.

I agree, DeltaBetaBaby: Trump only kept Sam around to keep the drama going. I think George was pretty annoyed about that, too.

ARGHSF:JSD:FJSK. Sam is such a douche bag. Jason made a mistake, yes. But even if he met with the president, I still think the girls were gona win. Sex sells we all know that. I'm just really disappointed that Jason got fired :( . Him and my sister's real sister are in New York today for the Today Show. I didn't get to catch it.

I know I'm pluggin Jason like no other, but for being as young as he is, he's an awesome businessman and now it just gives him the chance to become successful without the crutch of Donald Frump.

And I'm sure even if Sam was the leader for the next mission, and they fail, he won't get fired. Frump is prolly keeping him there for entertainment. Either that or I think he's a decoy. But regardless, for those guys not being in the advertising occupation, I thought their commercial maybe was a little generic, but really good for someone who isn't trained in that field. As a PR person I give them 4 thumbs up.

I said the exact same thing to my mother when I was watching. I thought maybe Sam was like a mole trying to test how the team deals with a weak team member. Either that or Donald Trump is secretly in love with him - why else would you keep a man who slept on the floor at work and then lied about it (he tried to deny it even though Trump was like I saw the tapes stupid)

I was thinking that too. I wonder if the producers of the show have any say in who stays and who goes. If so, the producers could be telling Trump to keep Sam around just because he adds drama. The producers think the show wouldn't be interesting if they eliminated the drama causing people too soon.

Sam is being kept around as a mole or decoy or something....Trump either wants to see how the other guys learn to handle him without tearing the whole team apart (like a team-building task) or he's around for the drama. Trump's a smart man...he understands ratings, etc. and I think he knows people won't watch this show just to see him...he doesn't have that many fans.

Omarosa showed us her agenda on the plane when she snapped back at Erika ("There you go with your racism again....They just don't know how to handle a strong black woman, etc."). No offense to anyone, but it's not about being a strong black woman necessarily.....it's about being a strong business woman..... HOWEVER, Omarosa is shrewd....she's not yelling all the time like Erika, and she knows how to push buttons. It's been Erika's buttons the first two weeks, but Erika was an easy target (very passionate, gets loud quickly and easily, emotional). Omarosa's watching the others and seeing what buttons she can push in the next few weeks.

Erika's good, but too explosive. Emotions will get her into trouble.

I have a feeling that the women, although they like to win, will figure out if they lose, they might get Omarosa or Erika out (it's not clear to me who they want to keep at this point...) However, whomever the leader is will probably nominate Omarosa AND Erika in order to make sure one of them is gone (unless it backfires and the leader is fired).

I love shows like this cause I can analyze the hell out of them!!!

...I will post a summary of them here.

While I understand the whole commotion of this Sam/Omarosa dilemma, you must understand, the winner is determined by the one who possesses the strongest leadership potential and corporate business saavy, not who is the most popular and the most buddy-buddy. This is in part, the reason why I like this reality show b/c normally I do not watch reality shows, as they are too drama-oriented with no real substance to support it.

Being an MBA, I like watching the corporate-oriented business techniques and strategies these individuals are exercising and practicing, and that is the primary reason why I am watching this show. The drama and BMC sessions and commentaries during the projects I could care less about; they should be reserved for where it counts; the boardroom w/Mr. Trump. The cattiness with the women during the plane ride to Boston was pathetic and unnecessary.

As far as why Sam & Omarosa are still in, it should be obvious; being outspoken and unconventional (which is what the drama with them boils down to) does not inherently demonstate lack of professional business leadership skills, thus it is not a sufficient reason to eliminate them from the contest at this time. Both have in their own way demonstrated leadership potential; they have not yet had a opportunity to truly demonstrate it where it counts. Once that has been done, a better assessment of whether they should stay or go can be determined.

In all fairness, please be objective and try to reserve the Sam/Omarosa complaints until such time.

Uhhh Rain Man did you not see Sam fall asleep on the table, and then move to the floor "in fetal position" WHILE they were trying to work on the advertisement? How the hell is that business savvy and why does he deserve to be looked at "objectively"?

DeltaBetaBaby

I wish that they hadn't gone men vs. women.

I think it would have been a much better show if the teams were "MBA educated" vs. "learned in the real world."

Hootie
01-16-2004, 07:33 PM
Here's my take on a few things:

First of all I don't think the women will intentionally lose just so they can get one of their own booted (ie. Omorosa). I think they realize that with what the men have gone through, it's anyone's game (right now).

Furthermore, I think the drama and cattyness and pathetic naps are in there to throw us. Cuz like MOST people, I would have fired the lazy butt sleeping on the job or the BIATCH who causes problems. However this is Donald Trump....and he has kept us on the edge for the last two shows.

Keep in mind two things:

A. Jason (the project manager) did not give Sam anything substantive to do during that time--it was Jason's responsibility to keep Sam occupied during that time.

B. Mr. Trump explained in no uncertain terms that the project manager would be held at least partially responsible for the failure of the losing team.

Granted, while Sam lying in the fetal position on national TV didn't present him in the most positive light during the competition, it was, all things considered, by far the lesser of three evils. Jason, while much more likable and sociable, failed as project manager for neglecting to execute a critical aspect of the project and thus deserved to be eliminated.

Again, the elimination is not based on trivial personal axes to grind, it is about business and professional saavy, which is why I like this reality show over others.

Sorry, but I got to be candid on this matter.

Excellent point! Good observation.

I am getting the disturbing message that in order to succeed in business, you have to "sell sex". The wins by the women's team made that very clear. I would like to see a more objective competition based on intuitive and instinctive knowledge, not merely gender-oriented knowledge. Had Mr. Trump split up the groups like you said, it would have made for a PERFECT objective competitive reality show and I would like to think he originally would've wanted it that way. The only reason that he may have split it by sex was that it would've made for a more drama-oriented show (read: whoring for ratings so NBC can pat him on the head and say, "Good boy").

Okay, when did Bowie get fired? Was this on last night? I'm so confused...Wednesday night they ran a re-run of last week's show, and I thought it was supposed to be on last night, but NO, they had to show some stupid crap about the Panthers.

So is it on on Thursdays for good now? Please someone tell me they didn't show a new episode last night!!!

Nick was being a tool. He definitely should have been fired instead of Bowie.

I love how Assorama was saying that she was softer towards the other women, and it was working a lot better. No sh!t, sherlock. I can't wait to see how she interacts with the men.

4 women and 2 men on each team should be interesting.

No, not really. They are doing what they have to to win, and if that means using sex, then so be it. Unfortunately, sex sells...to men and women. I think instead of calling them out and saying it's inappropriate, he should have said, so far you've been able to use sex to sell, and to win your challenges. Unfortunately, there will be a time when you can't use your sexuality to get what you want, maybe you should come up with new marketing ideas.

Omorosa was out of line when she called Heidi classless, etc., but I see what her intentions were. She was trying to give a compliment but doesn't quite know how to do so. I really don't think she was rude though. Trump made a big deal out of something very small. I can't wait to see what happens next week!

Tammy was beyond awful. She made unrealistic suggestions and actually seemed to make the celebrities feel bad -- the way she was harping on Carson Daly about playing golf with Tiger Woods made me feel bad for Carson when he was like, dude, I can't get Tiger. Awful.

LOL, I like Omarosa. She is incredibly well spoken and intelligent, but she doesn't know how to relate to peers. She keeps it interesting, though. I never really noticed Troy before, but his negotiation skills were awesome. I think he may end up winning.

I agree that she was out of line. While I find Heidi a little bit "rough around the edges" at times, I would have chosen my words more carefully and referred to her as "unrefined" or something more eloquent like that.

To call someone without class (I forget what her precise words were) calls into question a person's OWN class........

Trump couldn't not fire Jessie after firing Kristi for the same thing last week. I think he would love to fire Omorosa and Heidi, but he hasn't been able to justify it yet. I think Heidi being noncommittal when Trump asks her who screwed up will backfire on her, because a leader should be able to make a decision, even though she technically wasn't the one that had to make the decision at the time. Also, Trump realizes that he can't have someone running his company that cannot relate to people, like Omorosa; no one works at their best when their boss is condescending and rude like she is.

I never thought I would feel bad for Carson Daly, but I did last night when Tammy was talking to him, especially when she said "you and a celebrity" instead of "you and another celebrity." It was also awful when she called Regis "Phil." I'm surprised they didn't tell her to just stay home for the rest of the negotiations.

I am PRAYING that Omarosa gets fired next week. From the previews it looks like they'll have a reason, assuming her team loses. I think I foresee another team shuffling if her team keeps losing people.

I agree, Trump couldn't have not fired Jessie after firing Kristi for the same thing last week. However, Omarosa, whether the Team Manager or not, has no right to talk to people that way. And she was rude to Isaac Mazrahi by not even being able to correctly pronounce his name. I didn't agree with what she was saying about Jessie insulting him by speaking very slowly. That's just the way she talks - she clearly enunciates her words as she says them.

Did anyone ever find out where the $180 went? I think the missing money was an accounting error by Omarosa. In the scene where the group was in Chinatown looking at the umbrellas, the show made a point to zoom in on the cash register and they spent $182 at that store.

I work in Downtown Chicago near the NBC building.

On my way out to Michigan Avenue to get some junk food, I saw a guy who i thought looked like SAM walking into the building.

It reallly was him and I had to get his autograph.

Sam was rightfully fired...but a real interesting person.

He wrote "best wishes for succes...go for your dreams".

It was all a lot cooler...becauase other people in the building were like..."who the heck is that...and why do you want that guys autograph?!"

and in person...Trump is right...sam is REALLY short..he couldnt be any taller then 5'5"!!!

Anorosa really is a *itch....my roommates and I thought she would make it to the final three, but that she wouldnt win.

I have some sympathy for her though. She has a strong personality, and I dont think she was ever able to bond with the other girls for some reason or another.

So far there is only one person on the show that I dont like...and that is that guy (his name escapes me right now) who is in the romance with the other candidiate.

Troy knew that writing what he did would irritate Katrina and make her mad, and part of the *game* is psychological and getting inside the mind of the other team. Troy was just working as a businessman....how often in the *real* business world does this happen? Even Trump admitted that he's been *duped*!

I knew Ereka (ugh! spelling!) would get fired the second she started freaking out in front of Carolyn.

I don't know how Nick gets off saying that he's a "phenomenal salesman." He's awful.

Assorama gets more evil by the second. Amy should have kicked her in the head instead of in her leg. I hope she kicked hard, at least.

I must say, this definitely wasn't the "best boardroom ever," like they promised it would be. That title still goes to the one where Sam was fired, and will eventually be passed along to the one where Assorama gets fired.

I can't believe no one mentioned this yet! Omarosa was on the View a couple of days ago and had mentioned how someone had called her the n-word. That same night Ereka had called the show and said that Omarosa was talking about her and how it was so untrue, and they had her on and about all the lies Omarosa really had told and then one of the co-hosts called the producer of the show and he said out of all the video tapes Ereka had never said that. I was so shocked and then today Heidi and Trump were on the View and Heidi had commented on all the lies Omarosa has been telling. I wonder if Miss White House Omarosa will find another job..

Assorama is writing a book and in talks for a talk show (on what network I don't know) she also wants to do commentary for the upcoming elections.

I read an article yesterday where she was at the Ebony awards and actully told either the audience or the producers of the show that Ereka was not the only one that was racist to her. Assorama says that she STANDS by her allegations of RACISM.

Dude she just cut her own throat in my opinion. She is saying that the show is racist and that in turn to me means that TD is racist.

She has crossed the wrong guy.

There's an entire article in the newest People magazine about The Apprentice, and on the cover it shows Omarosa with the quote of something like Why was I portrayed as the villian? ASUADPi was reading it to me today as we were driving, and she said in there that Ereka had made a racist comment, and she's not talking about the "pot calling the kettle black" comment. The producers went on in the article to say that after a full review of all the tapes they never found the racist comment....so if there's no evidence on the tapes, it's *highly* unlikely that there was ever the alleged comment. :p

So no " YOUR FIRED" till next week :(

I heard that The Donald is trying to copyright the above slogan

Yesterday's show was weak- I thought they were going to show more unseen footage- it was basically just a recap so I fell asleep around the mission where they had to sell things at flea markets so maybe they showed additional footage after that.

While she was certainly quick to pull the race card, I wont say whether I think she dealt with racism during her time in the series or not.

We were not there so we really cant say. Also, just becuase the cameras didnt catch it (there are some moments the cameras dont always catch) doesnt mean that it didnt happen.

I am glad that Omarosa got fired, she had a bad attitude and never really did any work.

However, she was very intelligent and articulant...I definitly would not mind watching her on a talk show or seeing her do news correspondence.

Glad to see both Omarosa & Heidi gone. They were too much at each other's throats and couldn't put it aside for business' sake. Not a sign of maturity...regardless of what is going on (racial issues, bitchiness, etc.)

I heard that too. According to Us Weekly (w/J. Lo giving back the ring on the cover.) ...They mention 5 fired wanna-be apprentices.

Omarosa Manigualt-Stallworth: Still Hungry for Power
"I should've built alliances and been more strategic, played it more like Survivor." She is in negotiations to host a TV talk show. "The best thing I learned from Trump is the importance of branding. So I'm coming out with my own line of business suits and a book."

Heidi Bressler - Mom's doing well, and she's back as an Account Exec for Philadelphia telecommunications firm

Sam (the psycho) Solovey - filmed a Miss USA promo with the Donald recently, getting married in August to fiancee, Lori Levin.

Jessie Conners - She's writing a book and launching a fashion line called - what else? - Be Fired.

Kristi Frank - getting married May 1st to fiance, Peter Smaha (co-owner of her restaurant in Santa Monica: Juliano's. Poses in upcoming FHM with Amy Henry, Ereka Vetrini, & Katrina Campins from The Apprentice. They each nixed 6-figure offers from Playboy to go topless.

I would have fired Amy. I don't think that she was very professional with her relationship with what's his name. Plus I was also thinking that SHORT skirt was inappropriate.

Good! I'm not the only one who totally thought Amy's skirt was far too short and very unprofessional.
I thougt Amy should have been fired. I thought Katrina worked really hard, and was not given the chance to shine by Amy. although Katrina should have been a bit more forceful. And Amy is a lying, manipulative beeyotch!!!! She totally chose Nick, because of their relationship. I so hope Amy gets played.

I think BOTH Kaatrina and Amys skirts are way too short. In fact, most of the women's skirts were too short.

But I think Kaatrina uses her sexuality much much more than Amy but that is not necessarly a bad thing, but it does rub me a bit the wrong way.

ZTAngel
03-26-2004, 10:51 AM
I was kinda surprised that she wore a skirt that short in a business setting. I've always been told to wear a skirt that comes to at least the knees. Some of the girls also wear very low cut shirts. I guess the reason they do that is because they're on TV and the producers want the women to show a little t and a.

I definitely think Amy should have gone this week. It was her idea and she messed up. I felt bad for Katrina.

Nick always has that smirk on his face. Everytime something good happens to him and something bad happens to someone else he starts to smirk. It's really annoying!

I don't think I implied that you said that. My statements are my observations of being a strong African American woman in corporate America, hell in just being in American.
I have learned that if my white counter part and I make the same exact statement, she would be advocating, I would be protrayed as defensive, overly confident or too strong.

I also recal that Kameelah was said to have a major attitude by some in the past.

My point is that when an African American woman is strong because she knows the playing field is not level and we know we have to work harder we are deemed the angry black or the black woman with an attitude.

Also having worked in the NY commercial real estate field, I knowit to be male dominated and racist. I was asked questions by my white counterparts if my hair stood on top of my head if I didn't have it pulled back in the bun I was wearing at that time. I have witnessed the racist conversation. I work now with a coworker who's former company stated in writing that they do not sell to blacks.

I also believe in TV editing and the need for ratings so I really take what I see on tv with a grain of salt.

I was sad to see Troy go, too, but you have to agree with Trump about him being a loose cannon and not quite responsible enough to run a multi-billion-dollar company. He comes up with crazy schemes, and sometimes they work, but they often do not.

In that way, I can see how Trump would pick Kwame over Troy, because although Kwame is not a strong leader (and for that reason, he won't win), he is smart enough to think things through before he does them, and he is smart enough to rely on the skills and talents of his teammates/advisors.

I worry because I think Trump really likes both Amy and Nick, but I don't think either of them should win. They're both too slimy and manipulative, and although I think they would be good at running the company at first, after awhile people would start to see through them and lose respect for them.

Personally, I think Bill is the best candidate for the job. Like Kwame, he recognizes when he should step back and let others come up with ideas, but he also has quite a few of his own. Unlike Troy, who comes up with an idea and runs with it without thinking it through, Bill comes up with an idea and considers its feasiblity before implementing it. And, unlike Amy and Nick, Bill has very strong ethics and will not screw over clients or coworkers just to get ahead—he knows that he can rely on his own skills to prove his worth instead of putting others down to make himself look better. (Plus, he's super-cute! eeeeeee! [I just had to throw that in. ;) :p])

Atlanta Journal Constitution 4/2/04

By RICHARD L. ELDREDGE

A WEEK'S BUZZ

It sounded like an April Fools joke, but it wasn't.

Star 94 planned to bring together the two most colorful characters from Donald Trump's NBC reality show, "The Apprentice" -- Sam Solovey and Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth -- to "take over" the Steve & Vikki morning show Thursday.

Solovey was game but divalike Manigault-Stallworth gave producer Jake Ray such a hard time, Ray booked contestant Ereka Vetrini as a backup. ("I had to change Omarosa's flight seven times, and then she couldn't make it until 8:30 a.m. the day of the show," Ray said.)

Manigault-Stallworth flew into Atlanta from D.C. on Thursday and was on her way to the studio via limo on I-75/85, when to her surprise, she heard Vetrini was there. She refused to go on air to face Vetrini.

The pair didn't get along during the show and had a supposed racial tiff on camera. Fueling the fire, Manigault-Stallworth told "The View" a few weeks ago that a contestant had called her the n-word. Vetrini assumed she was the target and denied she ever said that.

Off air, Buzz was in the studio and eavesdropped as Solovey tried to persuade Manigault-Stallworth to join them, but she told him that she'd rather confront Vetrini on "Oprah" because "I'd prefer to go on a national stage" as opposed to "a little Atlanta station."

"I'm going to drop the bomb on her," Manigault-Stallworth promised.

She then told the limo driver to take her back to Hartsfield, where she paid for her own flight home.

Vetrini rolled her eyes off air: "I'm so over her." Later, she crooned, "Ding dong, the witch is dead."

So does anyone else think that the "last minute lease" by Amy and Nick was planted by Trump? I think so, for several reasons.....
1. At this late stage in the game, it wouldn't be fun to bring both teams back to the boardroom with only one team actually getting the lease. Therefore, they wanted the competition about the amount, rather than whether or not it was actually leased (I saw the same last minute thing on the "lease the apartment episode". Who walks in and says "I'll take a $1000 a month apartment" in 10 minutes?)
2. I think Trump helped out Amy and Nick with the last minute plant so we could see them go on the plane trip. That way we could see their interactions. And Trump could have the family members check things out.
3. That guy couldn't have rented that penthouse for his New Years Eve party. He probably dreamed up another event for another day, but I still think it was a plant.

Nick had some bad body language toward Amy on the plane (turning his body away from her, leaning away, etc.) I also noticed that whenever someone mentions the Amy/Nick relationship to Nick, he smiles with his mouth (but it doesn't reach his eyes), it's very short lived, then he somewhat frowns and looks away.....I think they're trying to play each other...but I think Amy is liking Nick more than Nick is liking Amy.

On the quiz, I'm more like Troy. And it let me pick more than one choice on the questions with the squares. Radio buttons are for one choice only, squares are for more than one choice.

I watched!! Watching Donald Trump try to dance had me CTFU. It was almost as funny as him dancing on Live with Regis & Kelly.

I'm most like Kwame! That's about right, I'm very easygoing in those types of environments.

You are most like Amy -- "I'm a ruthless business woman with a Southern sense of charm."

Did anyone see them on Oprah today.. Omarosa just made herself sound even worse. I hope that she is a setup or else that is just wrong what she is doing to Kwame.

I am pulling for Kwame just bc he is good friends with one of my mom's friend's son.

I watched Oprah. Why did Omarosa sit on the stage with Oprah and Donald Trump while Heidi and Ereka sat in the audience? I liked Omarosa's pearls.

I like Kwame. I have thought that he might win for a few weeks now. I hope that this is a set up and not a reflection of Omarosa's incompetence. She seems too smart to make such a huge mistake. All of these Apprentice contestants are really smart and will probably be really successful.

It's weird, I walk past Trump Tower and the new Trump building near the UN all the time, but I never saw them filming anything. Those new apartments are beautiful and expensive. One apartment in the new building costs $17 million.

GOT to be a plant by Trump to test Kwame. Surely she isn't that evil naturally. I was shocked when she flat out lied to Kwame. Gotta be a plant.....

I just flat out screamed at the TV when she flat out lied to both diane and Kwame. Hell yes s he talked to her while at dinner .......i smell a PLANT!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i think in the end Kwame will win! he already said if given the chance he would fire her!

I just so wanted to reach through the tv and shake her and yell "why are you lying" . I also thinks she's a plant and I think that either Nick or Katrina will try to sabotage Bill.

I sooooooooo want Bill to win. Not that I don't like Kwame, but I think BIll experience wise is the better fit.

Just my .02

I was disappointed in Kwame's lack of leadership when things started to go wrong and he left O and T to take care of it. Imagine if they reallly did lose Jessica S!!!!

I think that B is doing a better job with the golf tourney.

If they aren't plants, then I can't see employers being impressed enough to hire them....esp when they screwed up on national TV and want high-profile jobs.

Glad it's not me!

The beginning of last night's episode totally ruled! I *heart* the older woman who looks like the lady that used to be on the Old Navy commercials, especially when she was talking about how she liked Bill and thought Amy was annoying. :) I think Trump made a good call by firing NICK and Amy.

As for Assorama, it is possible that she is a plant, but it seems very much in character for her to be screwing up like this and then lying about it. As soon as I saw Kwame pick her and Heidi to be on his team, I thought, "Well, he just screwed himself. He saw how fantastically that team worked together before, why on earth would he pick it again?" I think Nick will screw over Bill similarly, but we won't see that until next week. Of course, Bill has the balls to actually call someone on their screw-up, unlike Kwame, so if someone on his team does try to pull something, they won't get away with it like Assorama is.

Bill is totally going to win. *crossing fingers*

Earlier in the thread someone mentioned that THE D Man was on Oprah.

Well I finally saw the episode at 12:30 last night (this morning) and I was rolling on the floor. Assorama made a complete ASS of herself. Saying how she has finally moved and has forgiveness in her heart towards Ereka and everyone else in the suite. I thought it was funny how Ereka called her out on national tv.

Ereka point blank said that Assorama lied on HardCopy/ET (one of those shows) and that she is a habitual liar that has never tols the truth....or something like that.

I liked it when D-Man told Assorama that she definitely had to change if she wanted to get a high profile/power position, especially after the Apprentice.

I think Assorama is a joke as a business person. already lying to Kwame and the whole team about her conversation with Diane. You could tell that she was scrambling for an answer when Kwame and Troy both asked her about the situation.

If you're goint to lie make sure that you're good at it and can do it at the drop of a hat.

I haven't seen this one yet, but my guess as to why K would pick Heidi and Oma is that he knows a loss can be blamed on them.

Also, he didn't really pick Heidi but ended up with her as the last person left. He would've ended up with Omarosa one way or the other since Bill chose first and there's no way he'd pick her.

ETA: here's a little story about Omarosa. (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=487&e=1&u=/ap/apprentice_omarosa)

I feel like a nuttjob for defending Omarosa.

What an incompetent B!$%#!

I just cant picture anyone making mistakes like that.

I really am shocked that Kwame made it so far though, he never really did anything to warrant attention or praise.

Bill's performance on the show has only been marginally better...however...

Bill is so much sharper then Kwame, and I think he will win..but personally, I'm indifferent at this point as to who wins this competition.

Going into the 3rd week, I thought that Omarosa, Troy, Kristi (I think) and Bill would make the final four.

Boy was I off!

Okay, I like both Bill and Kwame, and either one, I think, would do an excellent job as The Apprentice.

However.....

Bill's demeanor in last night's episode really rubbed me the wrong way. I understand he's in the position of *managing* the entire team of workers for the golf course, but after stating that they needed to talk to the person normally in charge of big events such as the golf tournament, and then treating her like a piece of garbage and saying that he doesn't really care (my words) about what she thinks about how he's doing and doesn't consult her about what he's planning on doing (with the storage of the goodies for the goodie bags, etc), that shows a lack of respect for his *employees*.

DeltaBetaBaby
04-10-2004, 09:04 AM
I disagree...I just don't think storage of goodie bags was that big of a deal that they needed to meet in committee on it.

while it was not brain surgery, his actions still disrespected the existing staff. a little respect will go a long way in keeping your staff happy.

I agree with Polarpi....

Bill seemed cool the entire time although there was something about him I didnt really like....he seemed cocky abit...not as cocky as nick tho!!!!
But when he was talking to the staff he was just acting like he was the man or something!!!!

Kwame on the other hand...i felt like shaking him and yelling at him...he shouldve fired Omarosa!!! The teams are definitely there to cause some sabotage and maybe in the finale theyll give in there 2 cents before the final decision!!!!!!!!!!!

I CANT WAIT!!!!!!

...i was sad that amy was fired tho....

KWAME 4 CEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHHAHAH

If you're goint to lie make sure that you're good at it and can do it at the drop of a hat. Probably also a good idea to make sure that you don't have TV cameras in your face when you tell the lie and that you didn't have TV cameras in your face during the encounter you're lying about.
