Drugs/Getting high

Me? I only sniffed paint. I was 15. It was the first and last time I got high. It was a scary experience. :eek:

i have no interest in drugs whatsoever. someone very close to me is fighting a heroin/cocaine addiction. i see up close what it can do. i have had the drugs in my hand and was never even tempted to try it. the subject of drugs always hits a nerve with me.

Just a general warning that if you have letters in your sig, username, etc. this is NOT a good idea to admit drug use, ESPECIALLY if you're still an undergrad

Benadryl makes me trip-- I kid you not. Have terrible allergies and asthma and when I take benadryl and close my eyes, I see oh so many pretty colors.

I am VERY sensitive to chemicals. lol

Smoke cigars if they're Cuban... will drink just about anything that shows "alcohol x%" on it..

I am SO glad I'm not the only one! The last time I took some was over 18 months ago--because I felt like I was walking on air, and not in a good way. Claritin does the same thing.

I'm over 21, so I don't mind kicking back with a brew or two after a tough week (like this one!).

The other stuff? Let's just say I don't want to connect my organization to my activities...

so I've tried pot. Not special. I currently indulge in the following drugs

-caffeine
-ibuprofen
-nicotene
-alcohol

I'm extremely sensitive to drugs, too. I'm allergic to quite a few (found these out the hard way), and have what doctors call a "sensitivity" to steroids. Ie, they get me high as a kite for a while and then I start hallucinating. I was taking them for a sinus infection my freshman year, and they built up in my system over the course of a week, gradually getting me higher and higher. The end of the week saw me falling out of chairs, thinking my Coke can was dancing, and crying because the ceiling was shrinking on me. Not fun. I'm just a tad bit scared of what other drugs would do to me, obviously. Not to mention the whole bit about them being illegal.:p

I don't know why I'm answering this...but tonight was the start of my 5 day long birthday spree.....Pertron tequila will do you in!!!

Here's my list ( this is why my SN no longer has an affiliation):

XTC
Coke
All kinds of weed
Shrooms
Acid
GHB, GBL
Too many prescription pills to name ( Not Oxycotin)
Speed ( if you count it being in XTC, pills these days are full of it )
Wippets ( Nitrous)
Juice (Anabolics)
Special K (Ketamine)
Morphine pills ( just once, never did it again....it was crazy)



All these were done in a period of 2-3 yrs, I'm so glad that part of my life is over. I don't regret it, but I certainly wouldn't encourage that life style. Some people aren't secure enough, mentally, to come out of a phase like that and still be ok and alive. Yet, I'm one of those people who believe that drugs and creativity run hand in hand.
