Here we are, face to face
A couple of silver spoons
Hoping to find we're two of a kind
Making a go, making it grow
Together, we're gonna find a way
Together, taking the time each day
To learn all about those things you just can’t buy.
Two Silver spoons together.
You and I together (We’re going to find our way)
You and I together (We’re going to find our way)

I used to have a huge crush on Ricky. Now he's all grown up with a wife and kids. Then he was on NYPD Blue for a while. I so remember Carlton. HAHAHA. Ricky had it made...had his own train set that he could ride around the house plus his own arcade game console! I've always wanted one of those in my own house someday.

I thought I was the only one. I need a Silver Spoons marathon.
OTW, definitely remember the MENUDO episode.
HC they just don't make TV like that anymore.
I told my boyfriend that I want an arcade room in our house when we get some money. All I really want is Tetris, Ms. PacMan and a pinball game. :)

Remember at the end of that episode, the girl that Ricky liked said "I love you Ricky!" and he got all happy, but it turned out that there was a "Ricky" in Menudo that she was talking to?
Was that Ricky Martin?

the week that they had the silver spoons marathon they did it for like one night, then another night they did an alf marathon (i think) and a couple other 80s shows (square pegs and some other stuff). anyway, i was really hoping they would add alf to the nick at nite lineup, but they didn't. very sad..i'm sure at some point alf and silver spoons will be in syndication..
i always wanted a train that took me around my house.
and to answer the question about ricky from menudo - i'm pretty sure that it was ricky martin
and cream - i also loved ricky schroeder in the champ..bawled my eyes out, suck a great movie.

Oh and they can kill the Roseanne reruns as well.
My question is this what is this ungodly trend of showing 2 eps a night back to back.
Bring back Silver Spoons, Diff'rent Strokes, Gimme A Break, and Alf.

I downloaded the theme song to Gimme a Break! God bless the 80's....god bless Nell Carter.

yeah, nick at nite has become the roseanne/cosby show/threes company/cheers channel. over the summer their lineup was great - family ties, perfect strangers & head of the class. unfortunately they were all aired between 3:30-5am so i'm guessing no one was really watching and have since been removed from the lineup.

I loved Head of the Class!
Perfect Strangers was great too- not so much of a family ties fan, except for the episode when Alex got hooked o diet pills.
I LOVE The Cosby Show, but even I think that Nick at Nite shows it waaaaay too much. Like four episodes a day!

i think nick at night needs to bring back silver spoons, alf, head of the class, and facts of life! and show them at a time when i'm awake and can watch them!

ABC Family (I think that's the channel) shows back to back episodes of Growing Pains around midnight every weekday. Now they are showing the later ones where Leonardo DiCaprio joined their family. I used to love that show. But I definitely agree that Nick at Night should change the lineup to include some Alf, and the rest that people have been mentioning!

i am so sad that they took the shows off of the air. when i get up for work at 4 in the morning, i would watch 'perfect strangers' and 'head of the class'. why in the world does nick at night air cosby show 4 times a night?! they need to put 'perfect strangers' in one of those hours!!
