Hello Everyone:

Last week Angela Bassett was on The View talking about her career and about www.yourcreditcounts.com.

You can go to that website and obtain your credit score for FREE. I got mine yesterday and wanted to let everyone know.

It's only being offered for a short time; I think this week may be the last week. The credit score isn't included with your credit report, but creditors use it to determine how likely you are to repay loans.

I encourage everyone to get their score now FREE otherwise the cost is $12.95. It's not much, but why pay when you can get it for free. The entire process took me less than 10 minutes.

Be careful with internet offers as such. When you order something like this, the system keeps your social security number and can do all kinds of things with it. In addition, there is no telling how many times this agency pulls your credit; if you get your credit pulled too many times in a small period of time, your credit score takes a hit.

Whether you use the free one or pay, I consider it mandatory that everyone check their credit at least once a year. You never know what could be on there that is inaccurate. Thank you for informing us about this site.
