Have any of you recently gone to graduate school or transferred to a school that did not have your org? I just started a professional program last week and it seems so lonely on this campus without my sisters. I still have the net and all, but it's not the same of course. On top of that, most people in this area have never heard of multicultural sororities, not to mention other national sororities who don't have chapters on our campus. What have you done to make a smooth transition?

I'm going through the same thing - Gamma Phi is closed at my new school. :( It stinks.

i transfered to a new school. i went to UCO in edmond oklahoma and then transfered to ECU in ada oklahoma. it was like going from big city to farmtown usa. its taken some getting use to but all in all i have found its what you make it. lucky for me they have pikes down here, but it wasnt the same as my original brothers. now i feel so at home. have you thought about trying to start another chapter there. if it is possible.

For up and coming GLO's, members that find themselves in these situations present great opportunities for the organization to expand. This is how many of your larger GLO's got their start.
