At the Conclave in Tampa, the Tau Chapter(University of Texas) was granted their charter back. This is awesome, Tau has historically been one of our Fraternity's strongest chapters. Ritual teams will from Saint Mary's, UTSA, and Southwestern will initiate Tau's 62 member colony in November....

Great news. I think it is a super idea to focus on reopening dormant chapters.

Now that's a long story - it was actually quite a controversy a couple of years ago (at the last Conclave).

If you see me online on Instant Messenger send me along an IM and I'll try to explain the whole deal - and it was a HUGE deal two years ago.

Great news that they got the charter back though. If anyone has contact info for the GM, etc., send me it so I can send them my congrats.
