So I'm FINALLY an ALUM! YAY! I was welcomed to the Inland Empire alum chapter two weeks ago and graduated this past Saturday, so I'm officially an ALUMNA!!!! Apparently, this is really exciting to me... not too sad because I'm kind of tired of the drama of being part of a collegiate chapter, although I will miss my sisters.

[COLOR=blue]Congratulations! I went alum the last week of school along with the girl I shared a room in the house with, and we were joking we were going to break some stupid rule just because we couldn't be brought up on Standards for it! ;)

Yes it is...Kelly, our PCD, said that Lyn was considering stepping down from an exec position in the chapter due to other time constraints, but it seems like there's a lot of active alums around to take new roles. I am really excited to get involved with Gamma Gamma - like my chapter, they are the only NPC on campus, so I think I will be able to share a lot of insight with them.

Well, she's been doing it for a while. I sat next to her at the last two conventions as delegates.

For now, I'm going to be part of the Inland Empire alum chapter, until I move up to the bay area for my credentials and grad. school, where hopefully I'll get involved with the San Francisco alumnae chapter or the Marin County chapter. My future roommate is a Kappa alum, so maybe if I get involved with my sorority, she'll get more involved with hers (she's gone a little bitter for a while now because the girls she knows that are still collegians are being really terrible to her). Either way, I'm stoked...

...but LOVE being an alum even more -- sometimes I wish I could be cloned so I could do even more with/for/to Gamma Phi Beta.
I Love to see recent grads getting involved!
