I received an email stating that the Omega's Regional Conference will be hosted in Minnesota. Just wanted to know if anybody from GC was coming.

As a former Minnesotan I can talk about them. As for the snow...it depends on when the conference is. Mpls had snow flurries shortly before my birthday (May 15th) once and I knew then it was time to GO!!

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated's Central Region will host their 63rd Annual Conference in Milwaukee, WI May 15 - 17, 2003.

Our District Conferences are over by Mother's Day Weekend so its probably before y'alls. Is Minnesota prepared for this many Black folk? Didn't y'all lose half your Black population when The Time broke up? ..........................Chili Sauce

No there is no snow, oh wait, just that little bit that fell yesterday and today. Oh, and they expect another 20" tomorrow. But dang it is only April so what do you expect?

Even that little bit of purple is gone (this is not a pun about Prince's height.) He tore down THE house the other day and is supposedly moving to Canada where is "wife" who is supposedly pregnant is from.

Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are still here, as are the Sounds of Blackness, so the population of Black folx has stabilized. Oh and Kirby Puckett was found not guilty so there may even be more peeps moving in.

The dates for the Omega 10th District Conference are April 10-13 in Bloominington, MN. With all due respect LADYGREEK. I will be in Montgomery, Ala at the 7th District Meeting on those dates. There will be more Negroes in my car than will be in Bloomington, MN.

FYI, Doggy, Minnesota had a better winter than most states in the U.S. There is no snow in Minnesota right now. And to clear the record, you would be VERY surprised at how many African Americans live here. You would be EXTREMELY surprised at how many AFRICAN AMERICAN GREEKS are here!! Just because you can't go any further north without being in another country doesn't mean that there is no representation here! Hey Frat, Luv us Minnesotans!:D
