To the lovely ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha -

I hope you don't mind me sticking my head in here for a moment to make a quick announcement ...

I just wanted to take a moment to send a shout-out to a brand new Soror in Greekdom ... My Mother!!!!

This morning, my Mother Jacqueline Dixon-Richardson along with her 24 line sisters of "The Eclectic 25" crossed the burning sands into to the land of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Theta Rho Omega Chapter! (I think I am as hyped about it as she is!)

One of funniest things about the whole deal is that I celebrate my 23rd anniversary as an Iota this Friday and after all this time, she is joining the Greek Family! (And to top it off, she is a Tre' just like I was!!!)

Of course we don't mind. There is always time for a SOROR. Congratulations to your mom and my soror. It feels good to see another lady of distinction see the AKA light.
