I am now eating healthier, so this weekend I bought fruits and veggies -- fresh too. :D

What are the fruits you just love to death?

ya'll making me miss CA...there is nothing like stoping on the high way to buy fresh strawberries and cherrys and not to mentioned freshly picked peachs and nectarines.

looks like small tangerines, but they are sweeter (no seeds)

I had never heard of them until I moved to the NO area. :o

And here's a recipe for you fruit lovers:


You will need a blender

4 oz (1/2 cup) of vanilla or plain yogurt (lowfat or no fat) unless you don't care about your weight
3/4 cups of your favorite fruit(s) pineapples and strawberries seem to work the best
5 or 6 ice cubes or more depending on how thick you want it
1 or 2 packets of Equal or your favorite sugar substitute

Blend away

How could I forget blackberries??? There is a wild blackberry vine in the woods behind my house and you better believe that I still take my old behind out there and pick them in the summer time. Yum Yum! Brings back childhood memories

I totally forgot about those!!! I :D ;) those! You know that you can't eat them with a white shirt on and you have to be in comfort clothes to enjoy! My daugther and I eat those seed by seed. I will fight if somebody ask for some!

When it is fresh it look like little kiwi fruit on the outside and on the inside it is a white fruit

But it is sold mostly canned and served with ice to keep cold and then it look like little peeled grapes, it kinda tastes like grapes, if you have an asian market in your area you may be able to pick up a can. My old roommate and friend who is asian got me hip to it.
