Hey ladies,

I just graduated in Jan from Allegheny. I was an active sister there but have since moved back home to Boston. I've been missing my girls back at school very much and I was wondering if there were any BU girls on the message board who could let me know about anything going on locally (or even if they need any help).

Also, there are some sisters coming up this summer for my birthday and I think it would be really cool if we could meet up with some girls from the BU chapter.

If there are no BU girls on greekchat, does anyone know of any ADPis there who I could get in touch with?

Feel free to PM...I dont want people's emails floating around for the general public.

Loyally,
HBADPi

hi HBADPi-
I was just floating through these boards when i noticed your post. There is a Greater Boston Alumnae Association and you may email them at bostonadpi@hotmail.com. We're new but getting great responses from sisters throughout the boston area.
Just thought I'd let you know!

Bump***

Did you ever get involved with the Boston Alumnae Association? If you did I have a sister that just got involved there not too long ago!! Let me know!

I know Boston Area AA is busy planning Founder's Day with Rho Chapter! I've got an email address, too, but PM me.

ALSO, if any Boston-area alumnae are interested in helping out Gamma Lambda (URI), I know that help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!

Hey guys

Thanks for the bump! Very sweet of you! I did get in touch with the Boston AA and still get their emails which is nice because even though I am out in CA, I do go home often so it's nice to see if there are any events going on when I'm in town.

FirstAndFinest - thats an awesome idea. My diamond sister is at grad school at URI but she is disaffliated her senior year due to finances so I don't think she would be interested in helping out unfortunately. But maybe you could mention it to the Boston AA, I know there are some members who can't make it to events in Boston because they are too far away, maybe URI would be a closer connection for them.

Oh, I'm *definitely* working with Boston AA to get alumnae involvement for my chapter. Heck, I've volunteered to go up and help them myself! (It's a 3.5 hr trip, with no traffic on I-95) I am going up later this month for Initiation - actually going to Rho's one day and GL's the next! (that's only a one hour trip)

when is initiation?

I'm going to be in the area from march 17-29th but I dont have a car so that might be problematic....still I'd love to help out either chapter if necessary.

I got the email about Rho's diamond days but I'd love to check out URI's chapter. PM or just let me know!

This thread seems kind of old so I don't know if anyone has or will see it but...if any alumnae in the area are interested in attending any of Rho chapter's events please don't be shy to give us a holler..even if you're not a Rho alumna

visit www.buadpi.com

at least 15 of us will be here all summer and i'm confident that a large number of women from our chapter will be at grand convention this summer!

And I've heard this is one of VERY few times that Grand Convention will be this North and this East. Very exciting!!

Hi all,
Please feel free to contact the Boston AA at bostonadpi@hotmail.com. One of us will get back to you:) If you are looking to come volunteer for convention or are interested in donating to the Auction the Alumnae Directors are hosting, please let us know and we will provide you with more details on what they are looking for!

Also, Rho chapter is celebrating their 20th anniversary of recharter, so if you are a rho alum, please contact the chapter at their website (located in the thread above) and get on their mailing list to see what they are planning.
