Hi ladies,
I was wondering what everyone's resolutions or goals are for this year. One of main goals is to save money. I have not really thought about any other. Also, I wanted to know if anyone know of a website where I can purchase accessories.
Have a good school year.

My resolution is to eat healthier and workout as much as possible. I know, people say that all of the time....but I started right after Christmas and I have kept it up since. I have been doing so many crunches that my abs are starting to return to the six pack that I used to have!!! My goal is to look ABSolutely fabulous for my boyfriend's formal in Virginia Beach in April!
About the website, are you looking for Phi Sig accessories, or just accessories in general?

Oh accessories in general. I'm trying to find accessories that are different from the ones that are in the stores.
Some other resolutions that I have are: to get organized because my room is a mess.
To be an even better Phi Sig: To contribute more time.
To just have fun and enjoy life.
Also, to get a 4.00 this semester.

What are some of your new year resolutions?
Mine are: To save money, to be organized and to keep my room clean and neat, to stop bitting my nails, and to relax and enjoy my life.

My resolution is to be able to keep my room clean. I have a terrible time with keeping it clean, I tend to wake up in the morning and put on 3 or 4 different outfits and the ones I take off I just throw on the ground or over a chair!

just wanted to bump up this thread. always kinda nice to list what you'd like to accomplish by the end of the year.
also, what, if any, of your resolutions from last year did you accomplish?
(i'm going to have to take a minute to gather all my thoughts and then write them down. haha)
oh and also, what are some ideas / suggestions you may have to help other phi sigs attain their goals?

ok, here are a few of my resolutions:
*quit smoking. yes, as of last night, ladies and gentlemen, i have not had a cigarette! now, by tomorrow, i'll be a major b!tch... but hey, that's tomorrow!
*to eat healthier. eat less of the fast food and frozen dinners (it's so easy to pop one in the micro at work!) and be more responsible about making wholesome meals. i kinda like the idea of organic foods, but i think i'll miss cheetos too much! haha!
*to read more. whether it's picking up a newspaper (and actually reading it!) whenever i'm in starbucks, or if i'm curled up on the coach reading a novel... i want to get back into reading for leisure.
*to finally organize the black hole that i call a room! i can make excuses all day long about why i don't have a clean room - but i do need to grow up and realize that having a clean, organized room is a mature, adult thing to have! plus, i hate not being able to find the match to my shoes! this just shows how bad it really is... my mom's friend bought me a really nice (and expensive) closet organizer for christmas... yeah, that's bad.
*to save some money and invest it. i always wanted to have money invested... i don't know how to do all of it, but hey, that's what financial planners are for!
*to fix up the house for my mom. our house isn't in bad shape - it's just needing a few touch ups.
*to find something new that i like to do. something that i've never done before, and actually really enjoy it. this will be a fun task! (what haven't i done???......)
anyways, there's TONS of other things i'd like to accomplish this year, but i don't have enough time to write them all!
well, i hope that you all have a healthy, prosperous and happy new year.

My resolutions for 2005:
- Go to the gym 3 times a week during the semester
- Watch what I eat
- Lose 10 pounds by spring break (which is right before our Sapphire Ball ;) )
- Get a 3.5 GPA for my last 2 semesters
- Miss no more than 3 of each of my classes (1 for my night class)
- Clean my room once a week
- Pay off my credit cards
- Keep working to get our alumnae more involved in our chapter
- Help my chapter grow and improve our image on campus (we've been pretty small for a few years now and are getting to the size that we can be a bigger name on campus)
I hope everyone has a wonderful and happy new year! Good luck to everyone!

were having issues with our chapter at the moment

oh, i'm sorry to hear that!
every chapter has it's problems... and it's when the chapter works together to fix those problems, when the sisterhood bonds grow.
so what seems like a mountain right now will really end up being a lil pimple... and one day you'll be able to look back and laugh.

trust me. everything will work out... whether or not it works out the way you want it to, depends on what you do to help/hurt the situation.

OK!! we're more than halfway through the first month...
so how are you doing with your resolutions???
as for me, it's been about 2 1/2 weeks since i quit smoking. so that's good... just have to take that one day by day.
the eating more healthy is going so/so. i'll definately be able to work on that with my cooking class.
reading more ~ well, since i'm taking these classes at barnes and noble, i've got tons to read! doing lots better in this department.
organize my room... i'm half way there. seriously, it's a LONG process, so it'll take a little bit more time to finish.
invest $, fix the house up, and find something new to do... all on my to-do list!
