Today the Southern California Founder's Day celebration was held. Our keynote speaker was National President Lisa Hill Doughty, theta!!! I had a seat right up front too. Very exciting.

She told us that it was the largest Founder's Day being held this year. Reservations for two chapters had to be declined by the organizers because they ran out of room. :( But UCSB and Cal Poly SLO were still in our thoughts. A total of 403 women attended. :D To put it in perspective, that would be more than half the number of people who attended National Convention!

Congrats!! It sounds like your Founders Day Celebration was a smashing success!! What a wonderful opportunity to hear Lisa speak and meet with so many Sigma Kappas :)

I just got back from my chapter's Founder's Day Program. It was soo nice, we had sisterhood activities, a nice lunch then some sisters shared why Sigma Kappa is special to them. It was a lot of fun.

I couldnt make it to my chapters founders day celebration ... but i wrote a speech for it and one of my sisters read it for me :) hope everyone has fun!!
